Am I the only one having trouble seeing the game??? AT&T is trying to tell me that the game isn't nationally broadcast and since I'm not in either the Detroit or Anaheim markets, I can't watch it. I got both Games 1 & 2 broadcast just fine... Please tell me my provider is an idiot and I can justifiably flip my s*** on them when I get to the next tech support person???? I can't watch it on NBC's website because AT&T isn't on their list of providers for live coverage and the NHL Gamecenter app says its a nationally televised game >.>

Yup, pretty much that right there. I suppose St. Louis going deep (or dare I say, the finals?) would be positive for my region in KC. The cup being won in Missouri could spark interest in finally pursuing a team >.> Otherwise, my CHL team is still in the thick of the playoffs and they have my full attention until they're done.

Me and a group of friends from my sword fighting group do a pool every year, everyone brings a 6-pack to nationals and the winner gets everything. We do a point system, 1 point for predicting the winner of the series correctly and 1 point for predicting the correct number of games. For the finals, we amped it up to 2 points for picking the right number of games, and you could bet however many points you had accrued onto your final total. So if I went into the finals with 10 points, I could bet up to 10 points that Boston would beat Vancouver. If they won, I got the points for picking the right team AND 10 more points. I think there's a sticky thread on here called Playoff Picks - I think it's similar.

I'm not gonna lie - I work at the DMV in Missouri and I've tried petitioning for THREE YEARS to get my coveted "RDWNGS" plate (because we can only have 6 letters and redwng/rdwing are both already taken) and the turd who has the plate hasn't renewed it since 2004. They're supposed to purge that stuff every 3 years! I've debated getting a St. Louis Blues plate that looks something like this: Pretty sure they won't find it as funny as I do though

I don't know if you can PayPal with a pre-paid card from Wal-Mart.. can you? My husband got his Paypal privileges revoked by his bank a long time ago xD I know my bank account won't work with PayPal, but I'll definitely find a way to get the money sent somehow I'm excited for this year, but (god willing!) I know I'm going to miss a few games during June. I'll be out on vacation between June 15th through the 24th. I'll have net access on my phone though, so I can keep up on the games!

I thought the NHL came out and admitted that a goal by Vancouver (against US no less) should have been called off back in December. I can't seem to find the link to it anymore (NHL.com's website only goes back to January)

Well I'm having s*** for luck trying to watch tonight my cable company is "experiencing a temporary issue" with Center Ice, but miraculously it's ONLY THE FREAKING WINGS GAME >_> I'm pretty sure the chick on tech support has no idea and is just using that as an excuse, because all the other games are airing just fine. And with the NHL being chodes over the C&D for FWTV that means spamming my poor f5 button here to see what happens Too bad people who have Center Ice and get jerked around can't benefit from the online Gamecenter feed or something.

Even my cable box knows we're s***ting the bed tonight - it turned the game off on it's own! Lord.. I warned my husband that when they got back tonight I'd either be hyped up from a win, or drowning my sorrows in booze if we got throttled. The liquor cabinet is lookin' pretty good right about now.

Not diggin' losing Stuart on the blue line tonight. Not diggin' that at all. Hopefully Joey can keep up this "I'm gonna steal yo job Conks" style and we can squeeze out a win tonight.

Trade Hank?

This is the second game away from home for me, I had to watch what I could of the Wings/Canucks game on my 11.5" screen on my laptop >.< so tonight I'm going to try and see if the flash version of the freeredwings.tv stream will work via my in-laws Wii and if I can get it to come up on their big flatscreen tv. Saddest thing, I got so excited when I saw the Wings/Canucks game on their tv guide (because apparently you can buy Fox Sports Detroit as part of a fox sports pack) and they don't have a subscription to it If the Wii doesn't work, I suppose it'll be another night of squinting and reloading. /sigh
