I went to that last game vs. the Ducks, and that's it I take responsiblity for the loss, I think I jinxed them. Well that, and I never grew in a playoff rally beard this year. Guys, I'm sorry. Totally my doing.

Has the NHL ever had a presence in Seattle? I would think it would be more suitable than even Portland or Vegas. Not to mention it sets up a nice rivalry with Vancouver.

See, I just heard that they sold the naming of the arena in Nashville for millions to some company. Why would you buy the name unless you had a promise to be there? Maybe major league soccer will be coming to TN!

I've been searching the internet in earnest for the past couple of days looking for some kind of listing for who the Wings Assistant Captains have been over the past 15-20 years, and have found nothing. There's definitely a list of captains, just not assistants. Any help would be much appreciated.

I agree, and while I respect what Dom has done/can do, it's time to move on and get someone young and less injury prone in there that we can develop. I have my qualms and concerns with Osgood as well. I just think we would do well to shake up the whole goalie position and make some drastic moves.

I was at the game last night with a bunch of my neighbors who are big Ducks fans. Everyone expected me to be way more bummed out than I was. I was asked why I was being such a good sport about it, and I said that this stings way less than being swept out in round 1 in 03. To be fair, 16 straight years of playoffs is a bigger dynasty than the Ducks should ever know. I did tell my neighbor 'hey, looks like you guys got a lot of room for banners up there in those rafters' which he thought was a compliment. Silly californian.

Despite immense talent and what he did in Detroit, he was a whiner and a poor sport. Keep him off my rafters!

Good for Dom, now he can lay on his back all he wants I really think (and have for years) that we need to do some heavy recruiting between the posts. Someone young and promising that we can enjoy for years AND years, not year TO year.

Yeah, there weren't a lot of good things to take away from last night, but meeting some wing nuts and Michiganders was definitely the highlight. Hey, at least they actually played in the 3rd period....
