He is on the ice and present for more games then Franzen in my opinion... and in his times when he isn't scoring he is always there playing great defensive hockey. He was rather quiet offensively during the play offs for us, it ticked me off too, but just look at the play off he had the year before in Pittsburgh. I just see Hossa as a better all around player then Franzen, he is a shoot first player (which we need), and he works his tail off where Franzen can be absent for games and take stupid penalties.

We had our legit shooter in our graps and he was a great all round team member.... We signed Franzen over Hossa

Atta boy Bert... not to shabby for an old goat! I'm not on the enforcer bandwagon to have a meathead on the team only good for the odd fight and nothing else but I do think we need more players willing to stick up for themselves or a team mate and play some good minutes on the ice!

Oh please NO! Oh I hate Hudler... Hate him! But I would gladly wear a happy Hudler Jersey and do a jig so Sammy stays far far away from our line up. PS. I'm not too worried about wearing a Hudler jersey because it will disappear (just like him) as soon as the play offs start

Bertuzzi is definitely of Italian descent. I made the trip to Italy this year to see where my family came from in Cavasso Nuovo in the province of Friuli in Northern Italy and I was surprised to see a great many Bertuzzi's in this small village... so I think Bert may be Friulan!

It's not as sure a thing as say cutting off an arm or removing a lung but when you are surrounded by what Detroit has to offer I think a person would absorb that and be like his peers. Unless he is stupid and therefore a terminal cancer type like Sean Avery then there is no cure! Leino was a bad example, it was his s***ty play and unwillingness to do what was needed of him that got him traded.

If Carter wants to seriously win then being in the Detroit locker room will surely be the cure for his cancers. How could it not with the class of the team and the ownership running it. Man I remember almost vomiting when I heard we picked up Chelios... I loathed Chelios, I still remember seeing the Windsor Star with Shanahan looking uncomfortably at Chelios in the locker room. We all know how that turned out and my hate for Chelios turned into love pretty quickly. So long as we don't have to sell our future I'd give Carter a shot. He's a big kid that can score goals and I'm sure he'd be happy to be playing 2 hours away from his home town for the Wings!

Maybe this game showed Kenny and company area's we can improve on? There has to to be some positives to take from such a beating. There is only 1 thing worse then being embarrassed by the Canadiens... beat embarassed by the Leafs

Tickets in Montreal are expensive and often hard to get. Parking is a pain and the traffic.... ohhhh the traffic. I moved from Montreal to Ottawa 2 years ago and a big reason was the traffic. The fans are passionate for their team but if you are not a Canadiens fan you may find them to be quite obnoxious. The Bell Centre is a nice venue but if you go I would recommend saving the hassle and staying a night. Make it a weekend, its a great place to visit for a short stay. Great restaurants.. maybe the best I have found in Canada! I can recommend a few if you decide on going.

I love Stuart. He's been so solid for us. I hope he chooses to stay but I also couldn't blame him for wanting to be closer to his family.

At first I wasn't sure about him but Jimmy's won me over and still continues to get better with each passing year. Not since Hasek have I been this happy with our starting Goalie. Keep up the good work Jimmy and here's to hoping for a good backup to give you some much needed rest from time to time! Congrats!
