Congrats to a great tourney by the American team... Miller was unbelievably great, best goalie of the tourny for sure. Kesler was awesome too... Kane = still a douchebag though!

Awesome, congrats to Canada for the new record in Gold Medals.... what a way to win the Hockey Gold too! Congrats also to the US on finishing with the most medals! GO CANADA!

Kopecky on the olympic team? I guess there was slim pickin's this year in Slovakia.... and to have Kopecky's goal eliminate you from the tournament?! Ouch, I bet there are some sad drunk swede's today. Kopecky's the worst! That would be the same as Canada having Boyd Devereaux on the Olympic squad... Hahahaha!

The team is coming together quite nicely eh! Took some time but I think most of the kinks have been ironed out. Its a fun team to watch. If we can build on the last 2 wins I think we will have a strong shot at Gold. We can't sit back or take anything for granted thats for sure... every one of the final 4 teams is capable but I have a good feeling about this team and I think they will continue to improve and get stronger. I don't care what anyone says, I think Babcock and company are doing a great job and they seem to have found the winning combinations. GO CANADA!

Half the team has been injured for most of the year and we are still in the playoff hunt... Babcock is fine, and human, he's bound to make a mistake here and there but over-all he's a great coach... how soon we forget the Dave Lewis experiment!

Babcock is a great coach but Fatso should have been yanked in the 1st after his goilf swing ended up in the net. Give it to the Yanks who never let up even under great pressure and found the way to win... riding the Miller mule! The major diff was in net, Miller was awesome Fatso was not.

I hope they trade their depth, get Kovalchuk and get bounced (preferably by us) in the first round. If that is our destiny this year it would make me very very happy!

Not exactly sure what was said to make you laugh but I am happy with our 4th and I think Draper is playing well also. Whats dom up to these days? What the F are you talking about... I don't get it? Where does that come from?

I also think Draper has been playing some good hockey for us.... especially still at this stage of his career. Maltby has seen better days and will hopefully be moving on at years end but I don't mind Draper having another year on the 4th line.... they've been great!

I'm with you on this... Plus we get to see how Stevie fairs as a GM and Babs coaching the Olympic squad.... Lots of fun!

I really don't understand how anyone could ever say anything bad about Lidstrom... ever! We've been spoiled watching the greatest Captain ever in Stevie Yzerman and equally spoiled by the greatest Defensemen to ever play the game. Shame on those calling for him to be traded or let go because his offensive numbers aren't as ridiculous as normal... Lids on his worst day is still better then 70% of the Dmen out there are their best day! Atta boy Nick, keep showing them how its done!

We've been a team thats been able to get away with a decent goalie for many years. I believe Osgood was just the right amount of Goalie we needed and able to shine at times... Howard looks to be the same model. Howards done better then i expected and seemed to find a groove to where the D was able to bail him out when he needed it and he bailed them out when they needed it. Still, although there has been some improvement, I think Jimmy is still a rebound machine and he is contsantly needing to scramble around the crease to make up for being out of position. My opinion is that the majority of his success has come from the fact that he is a big goalie and has been taught to play high in his crease to leave less space for the puck... half of the save he makes just hit him because he is outside of the blue paint. I'm not a big fan of either goalie really but I think if they can both be in enough of a groove they could be a good enough tandem together... both giving us just enough. It might be time to give Osgood some starts to get him more in the mix. Here's praying for a star goalie on our roster for a change instead of one thats just good enough!

Relax there internet tough guy! Hossa did not sign for some ridiculous amount more with the s***Hawks and I personally would rather have seen him sign Hossa first then work on Franzen for the hometown discount. So I say BOOOOOO to Holland. Holland's worked wonders for us but he's also made some very questionable moves as well. And with that I leave you with a royal 2 fingered salute.
