I totally can't dance. (Wouldn't "something" be singular and "some things" be plural?) The person below me has something (or some things) they refuse to eat.

Beautiful. Still makes me cry thinking of him.

The Trouble with Girls- Scotty McCreery (in before Dawn)

Oh, goodness, it all started back in the '60's when I was born in Nebraska. We moved to Illinois when I was only a couple of months old, and then a year later we moved to Saskatchewan, which I still have trouble spelling right the first time (thanks, Matt, for reinstating the spellcheck thing- I never realized how much I rely on it until it's gone!) and so, being a good little Canadian girl, I fell in love with hockey. Dad loves all sports, and since he was from Detroit, he rooted for all of the Detroit teams, including the Red Wings. I wanted to play hockey so bad, but since I was a girl they wouldn't let me, so I ended up figure skating. Then we moved to South Dakota and I kind of got out of hockey since it wasn't televised much and everyone around me was into football. It's really hard to follow a sport when they rarely talk about it on the news and you don't get any magazines, and it isn't reported in your small-town paper. We moved to North Dakota, but it was more of the same- no hockey. Dad got his hockey news from a fellow Detroit ex-pat living in ND. With the advent of the internet, I was able to get more news. My parents were living only two hours away and had Center Ice, so I would watch games with them. I got re-acquainted with the Red Wings, and thanks to the internet, found a nice community of Red Wings fans. I enjoy the water cooler and the games we play here, which is why I'm reading the "this or that" question. I'd have to say that I am not a short and to the point person since I'm 5'10" and not very pointy. Therefore, I'll say long drawn-out answer. Pizza- delivered, frozen, or home-made?

Housecleaning and math. The person below me just mentally called me out for listing two things when Paul had asked for only one.

While it is nice to be pampered, I am more comfortable making someone I love happy. Regular spare or donut? Or, now that I think of it, Fix-a-Flat?

Until today. I took a vacation day to clean house. How crazy is your life when you have to do that? The person below me bribes themself with promises of treats if they do a job well.

The sad part is that if we told him he was going for a "hat trick" of lockouts he would wonder what on earth lockouts had to do with hats that do tricks.
-
I guess I'd go with the tennies. (Oh, I thought you meant GD. I read the comments in the games because I like to, but if others don't, that's fine with me too.) Condor or vulture?

I have a zillion things going at once. Sometimes I use one as bait to get moving on another. (You will not be allowed to ____________ until you work on ___________.) The person below me has delusions of granduer.

I think they'll all still be in the league, and thank heavens that now that we've lost a season to a lockout that the CBA has a one-year-extention if they can't come to terms. Now we won't have to lose a season in 2012-3. (Playin the "pretend it's still '06" game.)

Please, please, please, for the Love of All That is Holy and half of what ain't, DON'T just read the last one and answer. Read and add constructive thoughts. If you have something to share, that's great, but don't do the "Hey, guys, I don't have time to read all of this but..." If you expect us to take the time to read your post, extend us the same courtesy. Asphalt or cement?

Between my two jobs, I have too much stress in my life as it is. I am highly concerned, and I will be steamed if it happens, but I am not yet stressing out about it. Ask me in a few weeks and I might have a different answer for you. The person below me has been proposed to (or has proposed) more than once.
