Good old PBJ for me. Cold or hot breakfast?
-
If I dance, something will break. The person below me has been contemplating posting in this thread for a very long time.

Marco. Smells better. 45 or 87?

She must like basketball more. Otherwise they'd be flat like a puck. We should trade for her rights. Hudler would re-sign for league minimum. We'd get a guy who put up 50 points last season really cheap, and he'd save money on boobies. Win-win.

Mexican. Mountain Dew or Mello Yello?

I would if I had your number. The person below me has worked fast food.

Whoa! Me too! Actually, it was a birthmark, but they said it could become cancerous if they left it, so I had it removed and it left a scar like that. 30 years too early for the Harry Potter craze, but there you have it. Back in the day, they just called me Thunder Thighs. Glad to see our Helmer will be back in the mix this fall.

Chips. Luck or fate?

Usually. There are a few topics that are sacrosanct. The person below me has wonderful friends that can keep them updated and aware of special events. (Thanks for the updates last night, Loo.)

I do. The person below me hopes we re-sign Hudler.

Pizza, but not by much. Hard candy or chewy candy?

I really kind of hope they let him try out free agency. If we sign someone better, we don't need him. If he can't get anything bigger, we can sign him cheaper. If we end up needing him and he isn't getting what he wants from other teams, we can always sign him short-term. It's not like he isn't putting up points for us. We can sign him for a one-year contract. That way he'll have another "contract year". True, he might end up somewhere else and we don't get anyone we're looking at, in which case we'll miss him, but I think it's worth the risk. Personally, I hope we re-sign him because I love watching how funny veins get when people are ready to explode. And because my friend is soooooo in love with him.

Hmm... I'm going with Monday. Hopefully. The person below me has had their weekend plans ruined by the weather.

As long as it's a fight, it's cool, but goalie on goalie is just that special. Nuts! or Rats!

As much as I hate the bland corporate names, I would actually like Pizza Pizza Place.

My Great-grandma gave me a candy dish that her grandma had given her. She gave it to me when I was 10, and I broke it 10 years later when I was cleaning and it fell off the shelf. I don't know if it was valuable or not, but it was very old and quite fancy. The person below me will be watching the SCF tonight.

No to Budd Lynch? Really? I've never been to the Joe, but Budd is an icon.

I'm getting a warm, fuzzy feeling from all the Drake love. That he came back and fulfilled people's dreams just makes me happy as a hot chick at a hockey fight. Lang, Probert, Dino... It's funny, but when I think back, I mostly remember guys who won Cups. I guess the good years are the ones that stick in my head. -

We Need to Get Tougher to Play Against

Step 1) Sign/trade for Bobby Ryan and Colton Orr Step 2) Do a Vulcan Mind Meld Step 3) Put Colton Ryan in as a goal-scoring forward to do our fighting. Step 4) Get Bobby Orr out there to play defense. Ok, now that I've got the silliness out of my head, I would not mind having Colton Orr on the team. The enforcer debate has been done to death, and I've given my nickel's worth time and again, but one thing the team seemed to be lacking, especially during the playoffs, was joy. I know that sounds silly, but they all looked like they were going through the motions- like they were just doing what they were doing but had no purpose. One thing we always hear about with guys like Downey (for example- not saying "bring him back") is how they lift the spirits of the other guys. They kind of act as an internal cheerleader. They build them up when they need the confidence. Enforcers are commonly the "funny guy" in the locker room. No, not that way. Get your minds out of the gutter. I mean they're the guy that cracks the jokes and lightens the mood. They get the team up before the big games, and then go to their place in the press box. Or they play and do their duty. Sure, we need a defenseman. We need a top six guy. We know who most of us want for those spots. July 1st only comes once a year. I'm sure Kenny will be focused on those two, plus any backup plans should those guys get snapped up quickly. But we also need a guy who can bring the joy of playing hockey back to the locker room. And that, my friends, could very likely be an enforcer. Go for it, Kenny! -
You mean aside from being all the Kardashians rolled into one? Just kidding. I'm not a skank. Um... Let's see. Knitting, music, general stuff. Nothing unusual. Oh! Wait! I can recite the alphabet backwards! zyxwvutsrqponmlkjihgfedcba It's a lot more impressive in person. Trust me. (Believe it or not, I can recite it easily, but had a hard time typing it!) The person below me hates sawing wood in front of other people.

Didn't have to, unfortunately. Lumbago. Sounds more like a kind of pasta dish and gives you an excuse to drink a nice glass of wine as you suffer. Cold water or ice water?
