Ah, yes. May of 2007 when he and Scott Neidermayer's little brother made a Homer sandwich. I recall it like it was yesterday. The person below me can name the Kardashians.

Right now, hardly working seeing as I'm sitting at home in my jammies. I do need to sweep/mop the floor, but I'm taking a break. I will be hard working again this weekend. I will be working on Sunday- my only day off- again. That's 4 weeks in a row. I will have worked every day from Mother's Day to Father's Day. Work on your birthday or take it off just because it's your birthday?

I am usually quite patient, but I have my trigger points. Don't mess with God, Mama, my sisters, or my (Sunday School) kids. I would include Drew in that, but nobody messes with a hamster. The person below me is interested in physics.

2012 SCF : Los Angeles Kings vs. New Jersey Devils
55fan replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
As much as I want the Kings to win, the loss tonight means that they'll be playing Saturday, which means I get to see the game. Thanks, Kings. Now go get that Cup! -
Hippo. Glue or tape?

Sometimes the hardest part of quitting is leaving behind your old friends and finding new ones. It's not just about leaving behind things, it's the people that go with them. If you're using, you surround yourself with people who use and/or can supply you. They are not the most supportive people to help you quit, especially the ones who are not making money selling to you any more. I'm glad Mac has found a good woman to keep himself clean, and I wish him luck staying that way. He's my all-time favourite, so I'm pulling for him.

Texting, calling, e-mail... If you have to advertise, do it by mail. Then I can look at it at my leisure. I might actually look at it. Texting would really get my goat since I pay for texts. The person below me finds that thinking of things for "the person below me" is easier than thinking of things for "this or that".

If I had a cool side, I'd take it. Visa or Mastercard?

RIP. Sad that we didn't get to know him. Wishing comfort and peace to his family and friends.

Each doctor treats independently from each other, but pharmacies are supposed to keep track of sales of highly abused drugs. If someone is getting multiple prescriptions from multiple doctors and getting them filled at multiple pharmacies, that is a huge sign of abuse. I don't know about other states, but in ND when someone gets a prescription filled, they go on a list and if there are multiples, they get red flagged. I have no idea what happens after that. I don't know if the doctors are notified, or what happens, but someone knows about it. On the other hand, this is normal people I'm talking about. Hockey players have so many different maladies that the rest of us don't have, or at least don't have in rapid succession. They probably need pain killers way more frequently, and for more things than the rest of us. They have chronic pains and a variety of temporary issues, all of which could require pain killers individually. I'm still upset over Boo dying, but I don't fault anyone in it. It was what it was. Could someone have done something? I don't know. He went through the rehab. After that, it's up to him. You can only help someone so far.

At the risk of turning this into a political thread, I disagree. I'm a teabagger and I wouldn't vote for him at all. I think he was serious about family issues. I doubt he is going into politics. He's already proven that he can't handle the political media. He can still do commercials for money, and maybe volunteer for a candidate or organization, but if he needs time to reconnect with family, friends, and faith (as he said in the article), politics is the last place to find those things.

I'm assuming he has his reasons for sitting out. Being a goalie was my first career wish, so I can't imagine not wanting to do it. On the other hand, anything can get old or burdensome if there are other things in your life that need attention. I totally respect someone walking away from the game for their own personal reasons, but the whole messing with the team regarding cap hit makes no sense to me. You'd think that if he's worried about the global economic collapse, he'd work at that pay rate and put it aside for the fiscal armageddon that people are foretelling. The leaving the game is his call, and his call alone, but as far as the contract goes, there may be no "I" in "team", but there's sure one in "Tim".
