NHL.com doesn't list any tv for either team. Apparently the return of Cleary is not a newsworthy event. Very few games have tv listed for tonight, not even the games being played in Halifax and Saskatoon. You'd think the Canadian channels would televise those, but no... Can't wait for regular season. Go Wings. EDIT: Also just confirmed that the Bruins Radio Network will not be carrying the game. Guess we're screwed.

I listen to Pink Floyd when trying to retain my grasp on my sanity. Only certain songs, of course. Some Floyd songs are counterproductive to that effort. I prefer to think of us as being "tied for third". If Stafford isn't at 100% I'd rather they send in Orlovsky. Maybe the offensive line might protect him since he's not Stafford the Invincible.

Jagr is single; Kronwall is not. Right there that sinks it. Jagr is about as high on my "babe list" as Kronwall. Kronwall is my hero because he's a Wing and he knocks people violently off their feet. Plus I still wouldn't take a selfie. I don't have a wide-angle lens.

Good. I always liked him and was glad when we got him. He's not a star by any stretch of the imagination, but he always seemed like a decent enough guy. All the best to him.

Guys can ask for a PTO even if they know there's no way they're making the team there. Given the media coverage of Chicago and Toronto, those are the places to go in the hockey world if you want to get noticed by another team and possibly get a contract there. This isn't the worst group that ever was. We just don't need them.

I see where you're coming from. Rape is nasty business. However, if he is suspended before it goes to a grand jury, that also opens a door for false claims. Imagine if someone had thought that the Wings were going to beat Tampa last spring so a Tampa fangirl claimed that Tatar or Gus or one of our players had raped her knowing that they'd be immediately suspended. It wouldn't have to be a fan. If someone had a large wager or even if there was a gambling organization that wanted to drop the odds, all they would have to do would be to find a girl to make the claim, even if it would fall apart later. If he's guilty, the team and/or league can ban him for life and be making a statement. If he's innocent, there is no reason that he should have to suffer for something he hasn't done. (We'll find other reasons to hate him.) The only ones who can be judge and jury are the judge and jury.

As much as I'd like to see him suffer if proven guilty, he hasn't been yet. It's inconsistent with the Voynov case, but in the Voynov case, it was more likely that he'd be charged and found guilty simply due to evidence and police witness. Kane's case is still open. It may not even get to the grand jury. If it doesn't, he is a free man and will need that camp to play hockey for your team. I can see Chicago's point in having him at camp. They need to prepare for the future, whichever way it unfolds.
