I knew there was a reason I liked him.

I see more Wings gear than any other aside from the Wild, in whose territory I reside. Just Friday night, a guy pulled up to get gas at the c-store wearing a white Yzerman jersey. I was tickled. The lady who owns my favourite Chinese restaurant is a Wings fan. We're all over out here. There are certainly the transplants. If someone asks me why I'm a Wings fan, I can usually tell if they are from Michigan by the accusatory "bandwagon" look. In that case I simply tell them that my dad was from Detroit. If they are just asking, I wax eloquent on the greatness that is the Wings. They're usually sorry they asked.

True, but if we can throw him on a trade, it would be better than waiving and losing him for nothing (not that he'll likely get picked up, but you never know). I like Conks, but if he's not going to be up in the bigs with us, it's better for him that he go to a team where he's needed.

Working nights, I have no idea what meals I'm eating. I did wake up and have some caramel rice cakes, but I'm not sure if that's breakfast, lunch, or a snack. The person below me likes moon pies.

I'd rather have to work on Saturday and have Sunday/Monday off just because it's so much easier to schedule appointments. Of course, since I work nights, I can do Monday-Saturday (as I do) and still be at appointments. I do not understand the whole "work when the sun is shining" thing. That's my bedtime. When cooking, do you cut the celery, carrots, onions etc. into large pieces or small?
