I can't wait until it's over. Then I can get a new hamster without worrying that its name will be obsolete. The person below me has never been to New York.

Peking duck with a side of mashed turnips. (Providing my own answer since there wasn't a question.) Gas or wood fireplace?
-
Not really. They just aren't as funny as they was when I was a kid. The person below me has been Kronwalled.

Not at all. Aside from the Star Wars movies, which I pretty much have memorized, and VeggieTales, I don't have time or inclination or patience to sit through them. The person below me is descended from numerous ethnicities.

I don't buy clothes that need special care aside from sorting. Lizzie Bordon- actually guilty or really innocent?
-
No way Nash is worth Lilja. No way.

Bare indoors, flip out. Pluck your brows or let them grow wild?

I don't recall being at one, but I do remember seeing whales and I live in North Dakota, so...yes, I think I have been to one. The person below me has eaten a Joe Louis Dollar Dog.

Cool! If you go down further Sheri and Amelie are on there too! (Kronner55 and Sunflower to LGW folks.)
-
No, but since I want a copy of the naked pics, it should not surprise you that I have no class. The person below me is expecting a couple of surprises in the mail.

That's cool. Gotta love Lindsay.

I don't dislike them, but I have no real love for them. Too crunchy. The person below me has seen a picture of someone naked lately.

Baby, I Love Your Way- Peter Frampton

If I see it, I'll buy it, but I still have half-price Halloween candy in my candy dishes. The person below me can't get back to sleep when woken by the phone or other such thing.

Grab. The only time I have a clothes-colour rule is Green for St. Patrick's day and don't touch the unlucky clothes on Game Day, which in this case means that I will NOT be wearing one of my red shirts tonight as it is unlucky on Game Day. Fortunately, it is in the laundry so I won't accidentally touch it like I did the last game we lost. Nacho cheese or cool ranch doritos?

Dear Red Wings, please, please Go out there and kick some butt. Play a full sixty. (It's a victory haiku.)

Much more palatable if you mute the sound. Are you suggesting that we trade with Chicago? After watching that video, I'd say not.

I'm a big Star Wars fan, but that was kind of dumb actually. The person below me has played with something pretending it was a light saber.
-
Munch, as long as it's not butts I'm munching. Cloves or nutmeg?
-
Only Storage Wars (Does that count as "reality"? I'm not really sure of the definition.) The person below me gets annoyed by the preponderance of ambulance-chasing commercials on daytime tv.

Is Nicklas Lidstrom The Greatest Detroit Red Wing Of All Time?
55fan replied to up2here's topic in General
I understood that to mean that you picked Yzerman, and that his greatness was leading a team of players who did their jobs well and since Yzerman brought the team together and lead them, he was great not only as a player but also as a leader. Players like Lids are great in and of themselves. The Russian Five had great chemistry and was composed of great players. The real feather in Stevie's hat was that he lead a team of role players, such as Mac and Drapes, along with the superstars and brought the team from lacking to dominance. As for the original question, I'm sticking with Howe, but many, many good points have been raised in this thread, not the least of which is, "What constitutes 'the Greatest Red Wing?'" -
The power play is our trade deadline acquisition. In all honesty, it's easy to sit here and look at other teams' rosters and say, "I want him." It's been a while since we've had the cap space for us fans to do this kind of window shopping. The big question this year is not "who can we get?" it's "who would we replace?" From what I've heard, there are not a lot of back-up goalies for sale this year, and Joey has been acquitting himself admirably now that the D is actually helping him out. I do think that Ty could do better if he was given a few games to shake off the rust. In a conversation with my sister yesterday, she pointed out to me that Joey is coming in fresh from having gotten a lot of time between the pipes in the AHL, whilst Ty has been sitting on the bench. Certainly there's a lot of difference between the level of talent being faced in the AHL in comparison to the NHL, but Joey hasn't been sitting around gathering rust either. Hopefully Jimmy will be back and at full strength so that a back-up goalie will be a moot point, but it never hurts to be prepared. As far as forwards and defensemen go, there aren't really any Lebdas this year. No one is THAT bad that we want to run them out of town. Any names that come up either are young and have potential, or they are just temporarily not playing up to par and may well improve. We'll just have to see who will be offered up, what they want for him, and who currently plays a similar game that the new guy would be an improvement on. I think more questions will be answered in the off-season than at the deadline.

Yes, I am! The person below me likes cheese.

I'm taking a guess here, but they moved out to Denver in 1995 and started launching a movement to get the team back in 2010 (the mayor and premier met to discuss a new arena and stuff) so it was 15 years without a team until they started trying to get one back. Also, the new arena will be completed in 2015. So that's two "15" things that are relevant. Like I said, it's a guess. Hopefully someone who knows for sure will enlighten us.
