SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT THE PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!! Oh, should I wait until after warmups to yell that at them? Or should I start now to get the idea into their heads?
-
Why am I not surprised that it was Pronger? Why can I imagine him laughing whilst doing it?

I don't give out checks. The person below me will likely not get their fall yard work done this year.
-
He's overcompensating.
-
Yep. Twice. The person below me is doing a job that a three-year-old could be trained to do if said three-year-old possessed the physical strength to do the job.
-
Can't think of any offhand. The person below me has a job for which they had to go beyond a bachelor's degree.

True. I personally wouldn't trade our success for fights, nor would I give up a hot scorer for a fighter, but it's fun to dream about guys like Mac and Probie. One tough guy can fill a 4th line position and not be a detriment to the team. Most of what we enforcer slappies dream of is just that- a dream. The rules have changed so that we can't have it any more anyway. But it's fun to reminisce, and to dream.

Nope, that's one area where I'm a modern person. The person below me has visited a doctor lately.

Just heating up some leftover spaghetti. The person below me gets more than 3 phone books delivered to their home per year.

I did. I had never driven with power steering/brakes, and mom wouldn't let me drive her car to the test site, nor would she allow me to test in dad's (which I had been driving) due to lack of seatbelts. The person below me remembers when seatbelts, power steering, and power brakes were not standard on a vehicle.

Agreed. No matter the sport, there will be trash talk. (At least real-he-man sports where men are playing.) Good, tough play is great and needed. It's a fine line between rough and illegal. I suppose the dirty stuff comes almost naturally (never played football myself, although my dad was a coach). Rules are reactionary. They don't sit in a committee and think of things that people might do; they watch and see what people do that may be dangerous or unfair, and then they make the rule. You hope that no one intends to injure someone else, but it does happen. The best we can hope for is that the injuries aren't the severe or permanent kind.

Wow. That's pretty lopsided. I have to admit that Suh does cross the line. He had a meeting last week to clear up what he can and can't do. Hopefully it helps him. We (Lions fans) want him to play tough, but we don't want him taking penalties. Kind of like Kronwallian hits. We want them clean, but we want them hard and tough.

Isn't that the Norwegian team?

Wings 3: Miller, Emmerton, Brunnstrom Avs 2: Hejduk, Hedja

I got a new laptop last week as well! Isn't it nice?

I never waste the time. I have something planned to do during that time that I can pick up and put down if needed. One time I plotted the course I would take to TC if I ever get to go there. The person below me knows someone who is seriously ugly, but is a nice person anyway.

Seriously awesome.

Wings win 7-3 Lids, Kronner, Homer (called back), Helm, Hoodie, Bert {EDIT: Bert out- goal will be scored by Abby instead}, Mule, White. (Z, Pavel, and Flip pass the puck to each other until someone else steals it, upon which they get credit for the assist on paper, but incur the wrath of LGW for not shooting.) Getzlaff, Parros, Perry (who gets rag-dolled by the E-52 bomber just for old times' sake) Bold prediction: Babcock drinks water and chews gum.

I have not yet come to terms with my feelings towards cream cheese, largely because I am not yet sure what they are.

2007 was clavicle. 2008 was MCL. 2009 was face. Kind of like keeping track of Kronwall.

Lady Marmalade- Labelle.

I don't think either should shave. Chewy looks so nice as he is, and gorillas might cut themselves. Quilts, blankets, or comforters?
-
Oh, my. That SO rings a bell. What is that from. The person below me can think of clams and yams without thinking of body parts.

That losing streak to which you referred did indeed include a number of major losses. Hasek and Cleary were both out and our defense looked like this: Lilja/Cheli Lebda/Meech Quincey/Stafford And then Cheli broke his leg during that game. Fortunately, Raffy (I think) came back the next game. We didn't have Stuie at the time, and Raf, Lids, and Kronner were all out. For some odd reason, we were losing back then for a little bit, but they really did put forth the effort. It was almost like watching kids take on their dads. You knew the dads were going to win, but the little guys showed so much heart that you couldn't help but cheer for them. Now we have a healthy roster and no reason the puck shouldn't go in the net. I think that once the pucks start going in, they will keep going in. It's almost like there's some sort of seal to be broken before the flood starts.

Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle. It is Mickey!
