Tsk tsk. Some people will stop at nothing to get a head.

I wish it would rain in Texas. The whole flooding thing is getting sickening here, as is the drought there. I wish we could even out. The person below me has worn cowboy boots as regular footwear.

Depends on the severity of the problem. If someone could get hurt, report it. If you have been cheated, complain and try to get back at least some of what is yours. If you're just going to get stressed out over a difference of expectations, don't bother. Potatoes or rice?

DUI rules vary from state to state. Around here you lose your license on the first one, but you can get a work permit. They do follow you. My bf goes to work at midnight on Thursdays. He got followed by a cop who came in and made sure that he was actually scheduled to work at midnight. There's also jail time, court fees, forced "treatment evaluation" where you are basically questioned until they find reason to believe that you are an alcoholic and you have to pay through the nose to see a therapist who will tell you that you will never be cured and you have to keep coming back. Once your time/probation has been served, you can quit the therapy. It's worth it if it keeps drunks off the road, but I like the AZ way better. It's much cheaper on the taxpayers and is definitely something that will stick with you as something you don't want to do again.

Lucky Loo! I did not have a homemade cookie. The person below me finds that there are just certain people who annoy them even if the person does not intend to (no one here, btw).
-
Wow. One of my best friends is from Phoenix and she has spent a lot of stints in and out of prison down there. She was always at the women's prison in Goodyear. Lucky her. If she'd been in that one, maybe she'd stop going back. This would certainly make someone think twice about driving drunk.

Oh, indeed I do! Strawberry, peach, and raspberry are my faves! The person below me talks to a pet or plant or other thing in their house that does not speak back (excluding teenagers).

Headaches are a pain in the butt. Oh, wait... At any rate, feel better soon.

Oct-Jan and March-June C- Lids A- Dats A- Zata A- Kronner When we hit our Annual February Injury Blight (you know the one- where we are missing half the roster and people throw tantrums because we lose an occasional game) C- Lids (will not get injured) A- Tatar (until he gets injured) A- Exelby (until he gets injured) A- Janik (until he gets injured) A- Hudler (won't get injured; will instead lead the team in scoring) A- MacDonald (due to the fact that he's the only call-up left who doesn't have an Ohio license plate)
-
It just warms my heart to hear all those nice things about Kronner. And to think that I chose my name because he was getting picked on when I joined.
-
Not really, but they do get a lot of attention. I'm fond of snapdragons myself. The person below me used to breakdance.

So if you're drunk and you're watching Exelby, and then White skates up, you'll think you're seeing 33 and 18 again, and you'll be looking out for a Mac, but there won't even be a Commodore 64 on the ice. Then you'll have to drink more or sober up.
-
And I'm 65% sure that if we don't that Cloutier will still be available. Or maybe Turco. Either way, we'll find someone.
-
I didn't even know what a Commodore 64 was until people explained it here, but now I have to admit that I'm disappointed. I like numbers that aren't the run-of-the-mill type things. It's cool that he did the charity thing, though.

It gives them something to play for. Winner gets the contract. Good, healthy competition.
-
Pop into the GDT. Someone always asks for a stream, and people are usually obliging.
-
I'm not understanding. They wanted some guys to stop drinking for a month and these guys didn't want to? I don't blame them. I sometimes go months at a time without drinking, but I wouldn't want to be held to it. And I don't get the shower thing. Did that happen or is that a funny comment? Cuz I laughed and now I'm not sure if I should have.

I'm allergic to cats. Love them, but I'm allergic. The person below me likes daffodils.

1) Who is your favorite Detroit Red Wing player overall to wear the Red Wings Logo? Mac 2) Who was your favorite Detroit Red Wing player that joined the red wings? (Non drafted by Wings, could be through Trade / FA / Waiver etc...) Too many to call. I'll go with Hasek, but man, there's so many. 3) Which current player would you dream of them joining the Wings? Getzlaf 4) Which are the players that really "hurt / bugged" you when they left the Red Wings to join another team? Sammy. Could have made it work. 5) Is there a player that you never wanted him on the team ... but eventually joined the team? For absolutely no rational reason under the sun, I couldn't stand Marian Hossa until he joined our team. Then he won me over and I was sad to see him leave.

Go in. Do your time. Move on. Just like the rest of us.

Kronwall does a lot of media talking. He's not as good as Drapes, but I have a feeling he'll be the one stepping into that role.
-
I don't know who she is, other than that she was a singer who had problems. I guess it is like us with Boogaard. If you cared before, you care now. If not, then it's just like hearing about any other death. You pause a moment in respect for the fact that the person had family and friends who are now hurting, but you go on with your life. The person below me likes kittens.
-
Ouch, Jenny! Take care of that toe!
-
Definitely not on myself. Parros is one of the few that I like with a 'stache. The person below me will now reveal the least interesting thing about themselves.
-
Not many guys get to enjoy this: Congrats on a great career, Drapes. You will be fondly remembered and terribly missed.
