So... in 4 pages, has anyone actually answered the original question? Why was only Sidney Crosby visible on the Cup? It's pretty blatant. It's not like they just happened to get a shot of the Cup where his name was. Why not some of the great names from the past? Why not just a shot of the Cup? If they just happened to shoot it there, why not show the rest of the team?

We snicker now, but someone thought that Brett Lebda was worth it since he was a Wing. Probably not a head job, but he might get another assistant position.

Good heavens. I've been on hydro (back problems) and my bf is on oxy (injuries from a bad accident). Given how much he used to drink, I'm amazed that he's still alive. Maybe it's a good thing that he got sick whenever he drank. Horribly sad. RIP, Derek.

Since Winnipeg would be closer to then NW than Minnesota, that makes sense. The next closest thing for Minnesota is the Central. Who leaves the central? Not Chicago or St. Louis. They're too far west. That leaves Nashville, Columbus, or Detroit. Since the SE has the blank spot to fill, it does seem like Nashville would be the best choice for the SE. Pulling anyone else down there would be just as wonky as having the Caps in that division, but there they are since they are the closest thing. The evil part of me would like to see Minny in the Central with Detroit. I get the Wild games on TV here. That's just me being selfish, so you can ignore that part if you don't like it.
