I like it. I like it. Yes, I do. The person below me has had poison ivy.

I hope the Shark fans have gone home. This is getting embarrassing. You don't have to root for them. Just go through the handshake line or pull a Chelios and vanish into another thread where you can ***** to your hearts' content.

Zig LOL or FML?

I trust people unless I have a reason not to. Usually I proceed with caution. The person below me has a to-do list that seems endless.

Setogoofy Actually, Thorton, but I don't have a good pic of him on a diving board. Worse song for a funeral: Don't Bring Me Down or I Got Friends in Low Places?

Nucks. Love my Sammy. Bolts or Bruins?
-
I have yet to do that, although the technology is there. The person below me usually asks other people's opinions before going ahead with something.

Living in Wild territory, I developed a liking for the guy. Would have loved to have seen him on our side. He used to sponsor a fight camp to teach kids how to defend themselves if they were in a fight. RIP, and condolences to his friends and family.

We could have lost and run out beer.

I still love Sammy. Go Nuckleheads.

That's ok. We can be on the honour system. Most of us are grownups. I think.

I'll be pulling for Vancouver since I still have Sammy love. However, I do acknowledge that the Sharks beat us in 7 games. 7 close games. It was a heck of a series. Congrats to them. I'm going to go wash my hands now for typing that. (I tried to be a big girl and not say anything nasty, but I can't help it.)

Well, ladies and gents. It looks like no one else is going to do this, so here we go... It's the playoffs again, and with the games comes the Red Wings tradition of Playoff Bracelets. "Wow!" you say, "How can I be a part of this?" I'm so glad you asked. The only real rule is this: Red= win. White= loss. You can make one bracelet or one for each game. If you make one for each game, you can use different coloured floss. If you make one for the playoffs, you can use different coloured beads. You can add charms, octopi, or whatever you want to them. (Personally, I use letters to add the initials of all of the goal-scorers to my bracelets.) They can even be necklaces, if you'd rather not wear a bracelet. People come up with great ways of making this their own. So join us! Add your own touch and count down the wins! Roll call and/or pics can be posted at any time.

Sharks win 63 to -9. All Sharks including the back-up goalie and McClellan with hat tricks. Homer gets a "Callbacktrick" in which 9 goals that he didn't score are called back due to goaltender interference.

<GASP> You were there?!?!?

My learned Comrade is correct. I had thought that I had a photo in my album of him in his #15, but I was mistaken. If I find it, I'll post it.

It will end tonight.

Don't forget to boil it! Best of luck to you! If you're going with a crowd, have them gather around you so you can fade into oblivion. Let the Pi Fly!

Play like you don't want to have to listen to your fans whine all summer.

During the playoffs I wear the bracelets and change my wallpaper after each game. The last player to score a goal is the wallpaper. For the last two games I have worn my Robert Lang jersey and Wing Nut hat. I have also eaten spaghetti and drank a Vernor's (last night it took 2). Tuesday and Thursday, I have to work and will not be able to wear the Wings gear, but I have found that if I wear red to work on a game day that it does not work in the Wings' favour, so I will just take a Vernor's to work.

I understand those who address specific deficiencies such as our defense needing to tighten up, or our offense needing to score more. I'm cool with that. I understand those who have looked at both teams and decided that the Sharks are better, so they won't be as disappointed if we lose than if we had lost to Phoenix or a lesser team like that. I'm cool with that. I sort of understand those who see that we're down to elimination games and who throw in the towel early. They're probably young and have never learned that life requires you to grind through to the very end. This is, after all, the immediate gratification generation. It's annoying, but they'll grow up. What I can't understand is those who have given up and insist on wearing their lack of faith as some sort of badge of intelligence. I don't understand those who belittle the faithful for sticking with a team that is still in the race. I don't understand those who look at the series and say, "Well, we're behind. Time to give up." and then proceed to ridicule those who don't follow their defeatist attitude. They can suck my hockey stick. I still believe.
