Usually a load on Thursday and a load on Sunday since I haven't had a working dryer in over 2 years so they had to be hung to dry. Now I have no washer or dryer since I kicked them to the curb for cleanup week. I don't know when I'll do laundry next, but once I get my new set I think I'll just be doing it on Sundays since that's my day off. The person below me wanted to be a goalie.

Awesome! I love the way we are all getting so creative! Keep up the good work, and hopefully the Wings will keep up their end of the deal!

Loo's right. My roots (on mom's side) are from Kentucky and I don't look that much like my relatives (mostly since dad's side is outbred). You are a very cute couple. And if you need to pass as bro and sis for some reason, you could do it. Like if it's Family Day and relatives get in free... Or something. Enjoy your togetherness. At least this way if things work out (knock wood), you're sure to have cute kids.

Awesome. I think I'd like that kind better. Can you enlarge the print so old folks can see it?

THIS is what we need, kids!

No offense, but are you sure you're not related? That's almost freaky. Cute as buttons, you are, but the resemblance is freaky.

I have no idea what a Kindle is, but I like the name.

I still don't. The person below me uses their real name or a portion thereof in their user name on this site. (I don't obviously.)

Yes. My only sadness in this whole situation is that we can't bring him back to life and kill him again more painfully, and then do it again. And again. And again. The person below me still believes that the Wings will win this series.

My sister is just north of you in Watertown.

My sister made me a cake once. Is this the type of thing you mean?
-
I have. Don't ask me to do it now, but I have in the past. The person below me likes rice cakes.

I believe that some people are so intent on being assholes that they will corrupt a thread that is all about positive mojo. Said individuals need to start an "I believe we will lose" thread where they can piss and moan to their hearts' content. I believe in the Red Wings. They are not defeated, they are only behind at the moment. There is a huge difference.

Head. Listen to people whine or log off and watch the game in peace?

I know I've hugged a wall, but I don't remember hugging a door. The person below me has adored a hug.

Patrick Eaves' birthday. Go Wings!

I've never been a fan of Mexican food. The person below me is depressed.

I usually pay when they are due, but this month I stupidly paid them early since I thought I had the money. I am still trying to figure out why two of the checks came back and I had to use my ready reserve. Next time, I pay when they're due. Canned, fresh, or frozen veggies?

Stay out of the box, boys. Good advice for winning games and avoiding social diseases. Let's Go Wings!!!
-
Nope. The person below me was disappointed that I had no good story to share.

Biscuit If your call is disconnected: Call them back or wait for them to call you back?

How Wasteful the Older Generation Was ... In the line at the store, the cashier told the older woman that she should bring her own grocery bag because plastic bags weren’t good for the environment. The woman apologized to him and explained, “We didn’t have the green thing back in my day.” The clerk responded, "That's our problem today. The former generation did not care enough to save our environment." He was right, that generation didn’t have the green thing in its day. Back then, they returned their milk bottles, soda bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, so it could use the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycled. But they didn’t have the green thing back in that customer's day. In her day, they walked up stairs, because they didn’t have an escalator in every store and office building. They walked to the grocery store and didn’t climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time they had to go two blocks. But she was right. They didn’t have the green thing in her day. Back then, they washed the baby’s diapers because they didn’t have the throw-away kind. They dried clothes on a line, not in an energy gobbling machine burning up 220 volts – wind and solar power really did dry the clothes. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing. But that old lady is right, they didn’t have the green thing back in her day. Back then, they had one TV, or radio, in the house – not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a handkerchief, not a screen the size of the state of Montana. In the kitchen, they blended and stirred by hand because they didn’t have electric machines to do everything for you. When they packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, they used a wadded up old newspaper to cushion it, not styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, they didn’t fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. They used a push mower that ran on human power. They exercised by working so they didn’t need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity. But she’s right, they didn’t have the green thing back then. They drank from a fountain when they were thirsty instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time they had a drink of water. They refilled their writing pens with ink instead of buying a new pen, and they replaced the razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull. But they didn’t have the green thing back then. Back then, people took the streetcar or a bus and kids rode their bikes to school or rode the school bus instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service. They had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And they didn’t need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 2,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest pizza joint. But isn't it sad the current generation laments how wasteful the old folks were just because they didn't have the green thing back then?

Nucks. For Sammy.

Or we could just clone N. Lidstrom. Beats having defensive pairings of: N. Lidstrom/K. Lidstrom S. Lidstrom/A. Lidstrom L. Lidstrom/A. (Mama) Lidstrom

1) I just woke up. 2) I haven't had anything to wake up my brain. 3) I have been living through the "migraine hangover" from yesterday's headache. Now that I have my excuses made, I just want to say that if he was talking about the Flight of the Octopus, I'd be totally on board with what he was saying. Unfortunately, I didn't quite catch what his topic was. But what the heck, let's just go with it. Everyone run over to Boston, throw an octopus in the sea, and we'll get the King of Montreal to surrender.
