At first I wondered why we had a half GDT, but then I figured it out. Go Wings.

I can't speak for others, but I would like to see Ozzie have a few more starts because A) Howard needs a bit of rest now and again so he will be fresher for the playoffs and B) if, God forbid, anything happens to Howie, we need Ozzie to be rust-free.

How the wind blows can (note CAN, not that it always does) have a huge effect on the play. Ask your kids what it's like with the wind blowing in your face as opposed to your back. Switching (or having the option of switching) just makes it more fair in games where there are elements such as wind, blowing snow, or rain. However, it's just outdoor games, so it's not a big deal. Congrats, Caps. Nice watching the game with you folks. I'm off to work.

I think that it was during the Det/Hawks game that we did switch, but last year they decided not to since both teams chose not to. I could be wrong, but that's what I am remembering. Oh, poor Ovi. No goal.

<sigh> That's why I've been rooting for the Sidguins. I'd hate for the Caps to get that close and lose. This year looks good for the Wings, so I really would rather break Sid's heart than Ovi's in the finals.

I remember when I was a girl and we'd go skating in the spring to try to get in as much time on the ice as we could before summer. The falls were much worse and it felt so much colder when you were wet. Of course, this was figure skating. If they saw girls out on the hockey rink, they'd chase us off even if the season was over because it cost money to keep that ice good. Caps score!!!

I think you mis-heard. He does announce the hockey playoffs. What he said was, "Oh, boy, I'm here with Sidney and I've got a woodie and I'm babbling and I can't shut up."
