Those were my heavy drug years. Didn't get clean until '87. Had I known that somewhere in NS Sid the Kid was being born, I might not have sobered up. In all honesty, that was before I had internet and cable tv. Following the team was next to impossible. I just knew from some of dad's friends who still had family in Detroit that things weren't going well, but that we had some new kid that was going to save the day. Being a Lions fan, I didn't believe it. For all of you who sat through the games, cheered on the team, and believed that someday they would rise again, I salute you. You are the backbone of the team.

Bahahahahahahahahahahaha. OK, in college, I graduated with a 3.86. High school, on the other hand, I graduated 65th out of 66 students with a C- average. The difference? I took 4 years off in between. I was no longer one of the younger kids who got things much later than the other kids. It also helped that I could pick my classes. The person below me would be a philanthropist if they suddenly found themselves wealthy beyond their wildest dreams.

Not really. My sister and I used to not get along at all, but now we're really close. My extended family lives far enough away that I'm not involved in the in-fighting. When I see them, it's all cool. So, no. I get along well with my mom and sisters, and that's really all I have to think about. The person below me has a co-worker that they think might be a company spy.

I think he'll look more like his old self when he gets to #400 and doesn't have to worry about getting there. If there's one thing Ozzie is known for, it's being unflappable.

My dad and I went to a couple of Wild games. The second time was kind of last minute. I went online to Ticketmaster, and they had a link for ticket re-sale. We got upper bowl for around $90 each. Pretty good seats too- right in the middle. One thing you will find there is that the Wild fans are really nice people. Even though we were wearing Wings gear, they were generally good folks to talk to, and being in Minnesota, they know hockey. You'll also find yourself in the company of a lot of Wings fans. There are a lot of mixed relationships- Detroit folks move out here and meet up with the locals, buy season tickets, become Wild fans, but in their heart of hearts, they are still Michiganders. When the Wings come to play, out come the Wings jerseys- everything from Lang to Krupp to Yzerman to Zetterberg and then some. Have a wonderful time!
