Spend. I'm terrible. Check the caller ID, or just pick up the phone?
-
Kills my arthritis. The person below me rings bells during the holiday season. (BTW, Dawn, you were in both this and the tnt threads when I checked in, so I waited for you.)
-
Pancakes, although waffles are good. Check to see if anyone else is in the thread before posting, or just post?
-
Not me. I don't drink it at all. The person below me is writing a Christmas letter.
-
If I had one, it would be fake. My dad always insisted on real. Mom has gone with fake since he passed. My sister got a real one last year since she was hosting us. I don't know if she'll do that again. Silence or background noise?
-
I do wear it. Not a lot, but always on St. Paddy's. The person below me buys stuff from kids who sell it for school.
-
I'm sure I'll be busy at work tonight, but I'm not going to go overboard. Shop Black Friday, or stay safely at home?
-
And all through the week. The person below me has to go out and shovel.
-
Perhaps you could have Casey explain it to her. In very simple terms.
-
Turkey. Not a fan of ham. I'll eat it for Easter because that's what mom fixes, but otherwise I don't eat it. Corndogs or hotdogs?
-
Some. Mixed meats. When Dad was alive, he liked dark, so I never had to eat it. I prefer white. I now have a whole bunch of turkey (mixed) leftover. That's ok with me. I like turkey. The person below me gave their pet a special treat for Thanksgiving.
-
Actually, it's their fans that I find to be arrogant, but that's just me.
-
I knocked out shortly after the Lions game. I intended to watch the cowboys, but was too bombed. Plus I generally work nights, so being up until 4 in the afternoon is like staying up all night for me. The person below me has a Christmas Card list.
-
I was born barefoot. Right now I'm wearing slippers since it's cold, but normally my shoes are the first thing to go when I come in the house. Roast or deep fry your turkey?
-
Not this year. I had it last night. The person below me has dry cleaned an article of clothes.
-
Depends on where I'm going. Belly ring or tongue ring?
-
Hopefully Jack's team does better than mine. EDIT: Cancel that. They're playing against my Godson's team. Gotta go Cowgirls. Sorry, Jack. Loveya, but that kid is the light of my life.
-
YES!! YESS!!!!!! YYYYEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! Go with the fake for efficiency or wait for the real thing?
-
Because they're a football team, duh. What do you expect them to play? The spoons?
-
Oh, heck, yes. The person below me makes their own gravy.
-
Definitely left overs. I put the stuffing in a pan, layer the turkey on it, cover it with the leftover gravy, put tin foil on it (so the government can't read its thoughts) and put it in the fridge. Next day, pull it out, stick it in the oven and warm it up, and it is a tasty casserole. Jam or jelly?
-
I have very little. A couple of snow globes, a nativity scene (one piece, at that), angel chimes, and that's about it. I am planning to do it tonight, if I am sober enough after the football game. The person below me will be cheering for the Lions.

It's just an arbitrary date. It's not like Independence Day (July 4th, USA) or Canada Day (July 1, Canada) where something actually happened where they said, "hey, this would make a great holiday." We have much in common, but we are two distinct countries. The lucky ones live on the border and have relatives in both countries. Turkey times two!

Can I waddle the marathon? I'm not good with heights at all. I'd rather walk 26.whatever miles. Sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds?
-
I think I just fell in love with this guy. What a great attitude, especially the bolded part. If more people thought like that, the world would be a lot less whiny. Maybe turkey is what Huds has been missing and now he'll go nuts on the ice. Julie Draper for MVP!
