I have Montreal over Minnesota. I may not be right, but I'm original. EDIT: I will barf twice if this happens. The first time when Montreal beats Detroit, and secondly when Montreal wins the Cup and Minnesota loses when they've come that close.

The only solace I shall find should Pittsburgh win this is that a better team was eliminated from our path.

Had a foot-in-mouth moment today. I was talking to one of the reps that comes into the store. He's also an off-ice official for the Force. Mike Babcock (the younger) plays for the Force, and the rep is always telling me what a great kid he is. The rep asked if the Wings had made the playoffs. We started talking about all the match-ups. After a pause, he commented that he had thought it was odd that Babcock's dad didn't come to the last game. I was still thinking NHL and said, "Oh, didn't you hear? He passed away." The rep had a look of shock on his face. Then I realized that he was talking about the younger Babcock's dad (our coach) not being at the last Force game. We got it straightened out, but it was an awkward moment.

You know you're tired when you forget how to spit. I stood there this morning, groggy and in a daze, over the sink with a mouthful of tooth paste and couldn't remember how to get it out of there.

Count me out of the fitness thread. I have fits, but I'm not fit. I do drop in on the others. The song title thread is tough for me because I generally think of the same songs over and over, usually the one before the last post. No sense creating a loop. The person below me still has peeps "drying".

What is sad is how few current Wings remain. It's still just 5 hamsters. I've had Jordin for 2 years now (3 playoffs). Ah, for the days when Mule and Fil made me nervous about going broke...

Yes! Thanks for doing this again. Either charity is fine, although I tend to lean towards children's hospitals. There is no wrong answer if the money is going towards a good cause. I'm going with the hamster bet again. And, again, I'll keep track in my sig because it would be impossible otherwise. $1 for each goal scored by a Wing after whom I've named a hamster (must still play for the Wings, sorry Filppula). An additional $1 if the above-mentioned goal scored is a GWG. An additional $5 if it is a GWG in a series-winning game. An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup. $5 for each time a goalie after whom I've named a hamster prevents all opposing shots from going in the net. This is silly. The Wild/Blues game has playoff implications, and NBC is showing two teams that are out of it. FSN has baseball. There are probably a lot of very unhappy Wild fans in my neck of the woods. I'm irate and they're just my second team.

On the other side of the continent (conference-wise), the Minnesota game is starting. A Minnesota win and a Chicago loss would mean the Wild would be #3 and the Hawks would be the wild card. I would dance with glee. Or at least smile maniacally.

That 3rd Ottawa goal was a beauty. Rookie playing so smoothly... I'm rooting for Ottawa and hoping the Wings pull off a win. I just want Pittsburgh and Boston out. Since it can't be both, an Ottawa win assures that it will be at least one of them.

Just a thought...If Ottawa wins, they'll be in 3rd place (until we play tonight). If that happens, do you think we'll see Pavel, Hank, Kronner, and Smith in tonight? Or do we just say, "WTF, wild card is fine"?

That took me a minute... but it was SO worth it. I shall be singing it. I want to see that odd guys that don't score much have a killer day, just because there are so many big guns out. Mrazek scores a goal. Hat trick for Cleary. One point for Miller for each stitch. Make it so, Wings. Or just win, if that's more realistic.

I don't know the album, but the band is Berlin. We can consider the album an open challenge. Podmates after rough-housing.
