No, I've been too tired. I'm more into the "really?" with a stare that shows that I think they're incredibly stupid. It takes so much less effort. The person below me grew up being told things that scientists said were so, but now have been proven wrong, and thus is skeptical of things that scientists say.

I really don't care one way or the other. I'd rather they just kept it the same all year round, but it isn't high on my list of things that I don't like. The person below me sometimes sleeps on a piece of furniture other than their bed.

At least Mrazek is good. I feel bad for Gus, and I hope he's ok (or will be), but at least we'll be ok in net.

Nope. I have a hamster whose whiskers tell him how big he is. The person below me is pleased with the weather in their location at this time.

Not so much a refusal as a total lack of need. The person below me was born on or near a holiday.

http://offerpop.com/hashtag/gallery/8559 Duncan Keith may be a Blackhawk, but he's a true hockey player. He made the wish of a little girl come true. One of my best friends had CP and so this clip has some special meaning to me. Kudos to Keith for making her day.

I thought Marchenko has a boobootoo. I'm excited to see Monahan. He's the only twitter person I look up because he's funny in a very dry way. I hope we win. That would be nice.

Google Mindy McCready's songs. Find one with a number of celestial hosts. Type that number (as a number) into Google and see which answers are deranged individuals. If you really need another hint, highlight here- the deranged individuals start with M.

We have to have passwords at work that are exactly 8 characters and have at least one number. They change often. I always use a player with his number. My most recent one was Darthk8r. The nicknames come in very handy for making them fit. -

Actually, we've had two guys on the Wings who had locker-room nicknames of "Diesel"- Homer and Aaron Downey. The average fan knows that "Homer" refers to Tomas Holmstrom. That, in a nutshell, is when nicknames work. Sometimes locker-room names are fine because they are well-known (Mule, Kronner, and the Professor come to mind), but when they're less well-known, they leave people wondering who Diesel and Bear are. -

I find this hilarious since I name my hamsters after Red Wings. Anyway, as previously stated, the players refer to each other by nicknames and we pick up on it. Sometimes we make up our own, but usually it falls to whatever we hear them saying in interviews. In some cases, it is easier and shorter. When a player is new, a difficult name can be tough to spell. Referring to a player as Abby can save time until people learn to spell Abdelkader. People still can't spell Valtteri Filppula, nor can half of them pronounce it. Val, on the other hand, requires no trips to the Wings' website. Add in that Swedes usually double the S in names ending in "son" whereas other Scandinavians may not, and that some people of Swedish descent have eliminated the double S after living in the US for generations. It's nice to have a nickname so as not to have to go back and check. If there is more than one player with the same name, it can avoid confusion, although we rarely have the trouble. Just throwing it out there. Sometimes it's just to make typing easier. We all know to whom we're referring when we say Z, Q, XO, or E. I think the first response had the correct answer: It's a hockey thing. -
The McCready in question is Mindy. That should help.
