Don't put it past them. Referencing the 1993 Cup: Yeah, it's from Wiki, but they've been known to be right before.
-
I heard them talking about it during the game. Those Habs can't be trusted. Since they (Habs) lost the game, this is kind of funny. I'd like to find out what it was and how it got there.
-
Nah. Somebody had like a -65 or something for a post once. It was really stupid beyond belief. Your post at least made sense if taken in context with everything else that was said. You have a ways to go before we can call you a complete idiot. Any bets on Ozzie being chosen to meet Hudler at the airport so they can have a cluck before they get down to business?
-
Yep. I don't mind those "slow" ones that go the speed limit. The ones I hate are the ones who drive on 2-lane road, and go 8 MPH below the speed limit, passing someone going 9 MHP below. Instead of letting the rest of us whip around the original pokey dude, they bottleneck things. The ones I really, really hate are the ones who speed up to pass you and then slow way down. The person below me needs to re-pot a plant.

Orr. Fan or AC?
-
Only because they have a lot of vowels.

On the other hand- the Hawks have Kopecky. 2007- WCF- broken clavicle 2008- SCF- MCL 2009- SCF- broken face The team he has been on has been to the WFC and beyond for 4 years now, and this is the first time he has been on the ice. Curse or curse breaker? Only time will tell.
-
Thank you. You're all much better looking that Hudler, although I think I'd rather have him on the ice for the team.
-
Just a thought: If Kopecky was injured in practice tomorrow, he would have been to three consecutive Stanley Cup finals without ever playing a game in any of them due to injury, and they year before that, he missed the WCF due to injury. Dude is jinxed. If he makes it all the way through the next round, he should get the Conn Smythe (or at least a DiPietro Award) just for not breaking anything. (For those having a hard time remembering Koko injury history: 2007- missed playoffs due to broken clavicle 2008- missed playoffs due to MCL (or was it ACL?) 2009- missed part of playoffs due to broken face 2010- nothing...yet)

The message I'm getting is that Team Finland plays a more similar style to Team Canada than it does to Team USA, (or maybe it plays a more similar style to Canada than USA plays to Canada- I'm not sure on that) and that this means that since the members of Team USA are neither Finnish nor Canadian that they (USA) play differently. USA and Canada have stars- many of whom are hard workers. Finland has no stars, just regular guys who happen to be good at what they do, but not as good (individually) as many of the guys on USA or Canada. Since Finland has had success, and since that success can not be directly attributed to greater talent, it can be inferred that Finland's strength is hard work and heart, which is not to say that the other teams have none, just that Finland must rely on it more than the aforementioned teams do, and that Finland has enough to win many, many medals that are not gold. Now to get this on topic, someone needs to post a nice pic of the Finnish Olympic team (let's say 2006- good year for them) and make it into one of those "Hudlers are laughing at you" pics.

What was the original photo- before the Hudlers took off their masks?
-
Nah. They never give out really useful information like "you will find your toenail clippers in the box your Sirius car set came in". Had I known that, I wouldn't have bought new clippers. The person below me has recently bought new nail clippers.

Dats in private; Homer to the media. Or so I've heard. Cindy Crosby or the Greatzky One?
-
When Doves Cry- Prince
-
You Make My Dreams Come True- Hall & Oates (When I first heard Tulsa Time, I thought they said "Living on toast and time." I had trouble figuring that out.)
-
Really don't like either, but I'll go with Bugs. Sweet pickles or dill?
-
I've never gotten one, but I've heard of them. The person below me was yelling at the ref in the Chicago game for not enforcing rule 10.4. Ok, that's a bit too specific. How about: The person below me has yelled at refs for not enforcing the rules.

Thanks. Is anyone else getting sick of hearing Pronger's name? He's today's Sidney.
-
I'm finding myself rooting against players rather than for teams.
-
Leino hugging Pronger. I just got sick.
-
Those guys all played with the same team. Has anyone done it 3 years in a row on different teams each time?
-
Gill was impressive. I'm not sure I'd have the presence of mind not to grab it. One of a million reasons I'm not in the NHL.
-
Carrots. Plain or peanut M&M's?
-
Not me. Stevie is running well and I am content. The person below me is watching PHI/MTL and keeps switching who they are rooting for depending on who is on the ice.

Well, we know Conklin did it at the same time as Hossa. Of course, Conk's chances of it happening again this year were much lower than Hossa's at the get-go.
