Buy that lotto ticket. Glad you're back and getting better. Take it easy, and don't worry about us. The Mod Squad has been taking care of us.

June 17th here. I consider it "summer" even though we haven't hit that solstice yet. Anyway- I hated that I couldn't bring treats for school. I had to bring them on my "half birthday". All the kids thought I was cheating or something and I had to explain to everyone why they weren't invited to my party because I wasn't having one since it wasn't my birthday. Plus this was back in the day when "bringing treats" meant that mom cooked something. Mom was normally a great cook, but some of the rich kids had moms that bough store-bought cookies and stuff, so the cake in a pan was really dull because back then everybody's mom made cakes. Since the half-birthday was right before Christmas, everybody was wanting Christmas stuff, not a stupid chocolate cake. The person below me wishes things were less regulated.

Chicken. Head cold or chest cold?

She's even cuter than before. At this rate she will blow the top off the cute chart in a matter of months.
-
Salad. Not a fan of slaw. Ask about what you don't understand or don't bother people and live in ignorance?

Escape (the Pina Colada song) -Rupert Holmes

Not self-employed, but I think I wouldn't like myself as a boss. The person below me was born in the summer.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Bag. Bunnies or kitties?

No headache right now. Just some sinus pressure from a stuffy nose, but it's getting better all the time. The person below me has a Beatles song in their head.

I won't go there. Take the Long Way Home- Supertramp

Depends on what it is. Usually I need to get them apart again, so paper clip. You can also clean your earwax out with a paper clip much more safely than with a staple. Jack or The Box?

No internet access at work (at least not at my depth on the totem pole), therefore no posting from there. The person below me tries to refrain from spitting on the sidewalk.

Howard is the future. I doubted him at the beginning, but I am now a believer. If people have a problem with how he played here and there in the last series, I would hope that disclosure that he had an injury would help settle their doubts. (Carman: watch out for posts like that one on the last page if you want to keep your "minus" level below mindfly's. It was a great post and I was one of the 20-odd people -and probably the most odd- who gave it a plus.)

With Eaves and Helm coming up, Maltby isn't really needed for the PK any more. I adore him to death, but it just isn't in the best interest of the team to keep him. If he wants to go another season or two, I just hope he doesn't end up on a team where I'll have to hate him. Hear that, Kirk? No Ducks, Flyers, Penguins, or Avalanche, OK?

Best wishes both personally and professionally to a stand-up guy who was humble enough to do the dirty work and did it well.

I've always liked Carly, and James is pretty good too. I kind of like thunderstorms, but not if there's too much rain. Otherwise I get worried that my roof will start leaking somewhere. The person below me enjoys watching their pet.

Since I don't like coffee, that one's easy. I'll take the book. I have a couple of books that are "coffee table" types. Oddly enough, they all have to do with the Wings (well, one is hockey in general). Eat too much and be stuffed or not eat enough and be hungry?

They Don't Know About Us- Tracy Ullman

Not yet. Give it a couple of days to sink in. Since they have gone three days between games before, I've trained myself to delay the withdrawl. The person below me would love to see the GD if Sammy or Koko won the Conn Smythe.

Pudding unless it's pistachio. Movie in a theatre or at home?

It isn't humanly possible to catch everything at the speed of the game nowadays. I'd say that it never was, but even more so now. Half of what I see, I only see on replay. Of course, I only have the camera angles that are available to me whereas they have the whole ice to watch. This can be a positive or a negative. On one hand, they are right there. On the other hand, I'm focused on a small part of the ice. What gets me bent out of shape is when they are standing there and let something go that they called someone on right before. Be consistent. I agree with Zettie. It was better when they only called what they had to.

I don't get Versus, so no. (BTW- Mike Holmes The dude is far beyond a good drywall guy.) The person below me cleans their whole house once a week. (I don't, but I know I should. Go ahead- make me feel guilty. It just might motivate me to do something other than this when my house needs cleaning.)
