Not really. I enjoy shooting a few hoops for fun, but I didn't even like it when I played it, and I don't bother watching it. The person below me wishes Mike Holmes would come and fix their little problems.

I will continue not to pay since I don't have the option of getting it. My cable company stopped carrying it since only 2 people signed up for it after the 2004-5 season. Gee, I wonder why it was so low... At any rate, even if I could get it, my VCR only goes up to channel 13, so I can't tape games unless they're on NBC, and since I work a lot of evenings, it's not worth the money. For the few games I get to see, I can find a stream. If I was at home evenings and Centre Ice was an option, I would do it.

Can't stand it. Any strong odors bug me. Don't get me started on perfume, cologne, aftershave... Even coffee and bacon bother me in large quantities like when I worked in a restaurant. Cigarette smoke is fine; cigar and pipe are not pleasant, but I'll live. The person below me thinks Lidstrom will retire.

I snipped a bit for length. The problem is that if we compare your story here to the Boyle/Williams situation, instead of Jack in the Box and bad hamburger, we have Edna's Yam Emporium, and Edna still picks her nose whilst working. It wasn't good to begin with and it still isn't anything you'd want.

Still feeling the effects of having too many wine coolers on Thursday, and I have to work tonight, so I will not be able to drink. Nothing to calm my nerves= nervous as can be. Tonight is probably the biggest game the Wings play all year. The Wings are coming off a huge win, so the Sharks will be looking for revenge. The Sharks also know that they can close things out at home. So many people have counted the Wings out that the Sharks have to win or face ridicule, whereas the Wings face only disappointment should they lose. I'm nervous and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I just got up. I am tired, but I do know why. The person below me has enough money to buy treats once in a while.

Friends, the time is at hand. Our boys will be taking the ice to continue to amaze us and it is our duty and honour to support them in their Quest. For those of you who are not familiar with the bracelet tradition, let me explain and extend to you a welcoming hand into our fold. Since the 80's, hockey players have grown beards during the playoffs. Male (and hirsute female) fans have followed suit. In the spring of '08, a member of LGW asked, "What can those of us who can't grow beards do to show support for our beloved Wings?" Many people expressed interest- women, men who couldn't or weren't allowed to grow beards, even those who could grow a humdinger of a beard- and we all put our minds together. Someone suggested bracelets, and the tradition was born. The rules are simple: Red for a win; white for a loss. Beyond that, you are on your own. Decorate them with beads, crystals- whatever suits your fancy. Keep them on until the Wings are eliminated or until the Parade down Woodward. The question did arise as to what should be done about discoloured or smelly bracelets. Is it acceptable to repair and/or replace them? Some said no; some said yes. I personally think that it is ok to do this as long as no one sees you without them. Most men have been supportive, but there are always the few nay-sayers. To them I say, "Nay!" This is not to replace the beard tradition. This is to support, encourage, and complement it. (Note: complement, not compliment, although if you see a great beard, feel free to compliment it.) We are in this together. Let's Go Wings!!!!! Here's mine from last year after the second round:

Wow. First time I've heard someone tell Franzen to act like Williams. I'm tickled at his performance. I'd like to see it continue for a dozen or so games. Give or take.
