I love Malts to pieces, but this is probably the best for everyone. Malts gets his surgery and the team doesn't have to trade anyone. Amazing coincidence that one of the people who would have to be moved needs surgery at the moment that we need his salary gone. The Planets are truly aligned in the favour of the Wings.

I doubt May will be claimed if we send him down. This hurts to type, but he is the best bet to send down. Lebda is trade material if we don't ask too much. Unless I am mistaken, this should put us where we have to be as far as cap goes.
