We did not. I mean, someone did, but it wasn't me or Leftwinger. Unless he's an astronaut. And older than I am. Make your bed daily or just leave it and sleep in it the next night anyway?

Not so much. I have a sore throat and don't feel much like eating. The person below me always remembers which end of the battery is positive and which is negative.

Nice job, Mikey! I fear that the Wings will be rusty tonight. It seems they always start slowly. Hopefully they'll be able to shake it off and win. Go Wings!!!

I'd go with Cheli. He was one of the best defensemen ever, he was dedicated to the game, he worked hard, and he won some stuff. Ya gotta win stuff to be a winner, ya know.

I think it's time we stopped looking to entertainment figures to be role models. There are a lot of good ones out there who use their fame and money for good causes, and I applaud that, but I'm talking about the ones who are doing bad things. We give people gigantic amounts of money that most of us will never come close to having. We surround them with people who constantly tell them how great they are. We treat them as though they are demigods. We can't get enough of them. Then we expect them to act like regular people. Some can pull it off; some can't. Why are we not pointing to parents, teachers, and leaders in the community as role models? Granted, not all of them are good people, but if they're people we know, we can judge them on who they are, not what they are portrayed as being. I'm actually glad that the NFL is done with who slept with whom or hit whom or whatever crimes they committed and are back to arguing about the sport itself and not the people who play it. It's a game, and a manly one at that. It's taken some time, but the news stories are finally back to men arguing over who has the bigger balls. -

Alice in Chains (It was actually the Statler Brothers. Statler and Waldorf were the two old guys who used to heckle the Muppets.) Social organization of refined artistic taste.

Steve Miller Band Good one, BTW. It had me thinking hard until I got it, and then I went, "Duh". Siblings who share a surname with Waldorf's seatmate.

I do no play Trivia Politics. Honestly, Trivia Crack is what Trivia is to me, but I don't play well with others. I am neither Democrat nor Republican and can't figure out either for the life of me. I also can't figure out how perfectly normal people can hate with such fire over whatever a party says they're supposed to hate. What I've seen on Facebook alone is enough to scare me far, far away from either party. I will now stop before I start sharing my thoughts on why the 2-party system is no longer needed and with what we should replace it before this becomes a political post. Suffice it to say that I am an equal-opportunity face-palmer. The person below me has thrown actual rice at a wedding.
