I would, but the few times that I do I think I'd rather have a pizza with the money. Unless they came from a guy, but that happened only once- in May of 1994- and I don't see it happening again. The person below me thinks this is a hoot: name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>&"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" />

That's right, but not how it's marketed nationally or internationally. Most people think of dip as chew and snus as dip and snuff as chew. Go figure. This is stolen from wiki and edited by me to add personal opinion and a few other facts. Best stuff: snus, a moist and scandinavian form of snuff which is placed under the lip (usually the upper unless you're like me and a convert from chewing tobacco) and typically does not result in the need for spitting. Pasteurized. Moist according to wiki. I prefer dry. Next best: chewing tobacco, tobacco furnished as long strands which is placed between the cheek and gum or teeth. Fermented. Never tried and have no desire: snuff (luktsnus in Swedish and luktesnus in Norwegian), a dry form of snuff which is inhaled or "snuffed" through the nose. Not appealing, but I'd try it before snuff: dipping tobacco (also known as dip, spit tobacco or confusingly even moist snuff), a moist and American form of Swedish snuff which is placed between the lower lip and the gums and often causes excess saliva while dipping. I sell snus and chew where I work and people drive me nuts trying to explain what they want. And for the record: snus rhymes with moose, not with fuss.

Oh, dear, no. I set it to tape whilst I was at work and a guy came up to me at 10 and said, "I bet you're happy the Wings beat the Wild." I told him I had it taped. He apologized and told me it was a great game and I should be sure to watch it anyway, but when I got home, I found that my VCR is too old to accomodate channels higher than the old-style tv's with the dial, so it didn't tape channel 33 (FSN North for me), so all I got was snow. We won in the 8th round of a shootout? No, not really breathing easier. We need to win these things in the 7th round or earlier to be competitive. The person below me is wearing white (a) undergarmet(s).

Homer and Zata did snus, but I heard that Zata quit both snus and smoking. It's a lot more common in Europe, from what I hear.

explanation here, but it's in Czech. The upshot is that Dom is doing a gig promoting reading and literature. They got celebrities to do photo shoots as characters from books. Dom's daughter is the girl in the pic. They're promoting Pippi Longstocking. As I remember, her (Pippi's) father was rather fat, so Dom doesn't quite fit the bill, but that's the story there. For those who don't know, Dom has the equivalent of a master's degree in history, and is active in promoting education. This gig is right up his alley.

Oops. For some reason I reversed which one I was putting before whom. I'll go bang my head against a wall as punishment for my stupidity now. Carry on without me.

Mom, grandma, aunt, someone who clicked the wrong spot, and a fangirl who gets horny watching House. Miller has shown that he can make a difference in role-playing situations and can step it up through effort beyond his talent when needed. No contest to me. Miller is before Leino in every way except alphabetically and by jersey number.

You have a good point about his age and defense taking longer to develop. I would not trade Ericsson or Stuart either, though. I'm impressed that you understand that 23 is young. It must seem ancient to you.
-
Thanks for the input. We might as well just send Lebda/Leino down than trade for someone who should get sent down. I guess the only advantage is gaining a bit of cap space, but at this point, I don't think that's a big deal.
-
A bit unnecessary to call out a school that a player played for, considering that he is far from the only product of that school. His cap hit is 1.425. Him for Lebda and Leino? It doesn't take much to fill Lebda's skates, and we don't have to worry about "Leino or Miller" when Homer and/or Willy return. Looking at his stats, his -18 is concerning, but I haven't watched him, so I don't know why that is the case. It could be something fixable. If he's that horrible, at least we can still play Meech over him, and we have saved a player better than Leino from the waiver wire. If nothing else, this allows LGW to replace 2 whipping boys with one.

And that's how weasels operate. I doubt Torts has the power to ban him. I'd think he would have by now. Obviously Brooks' boss (no idea who he works for) thinks he is doing a good job or it would be someone else's beat. I suppose they like having that sort of noteriety. It makes for a story, which is what sells. Brooks reminds me of the kid on the playground who plays marbles by himself because when all of the other kids tried to play with him, he alienated them by being a socially incompetent hosebag, so now he just sits and plays with his own marbles and tells himself how great his shot is because he always wins.

Funny thing is, I say sleep, but when I wake up early, I get up and come in here. (Case in point: now). I guess what I really like is not being a slave to the buzzer. Can openers: electric or manual?

Deliriously. Got off work at 12 last night. Don't have to work until 11 tonight. 23 hours off is almost a day off. The person below me knows how to play an instrument.

both are good, but there are some flavours of ice cream that do not translate well, so IC FTW. cola or lemon-lime soda?
-
I've never had either, but I'd say flannel. sweetened cereal or non-sweetened cereal?
-
Yes. I hurried home to watch the Wild game since I actually get FSN North so I could tape it---and the VCR failed somehow. Nothing but snow. Now I have nothing to do, and several hours until I meet a friend to go shopping. Maybe I'll nap... The person below me has had a huge crush on a rock star.

A fine gentleman and great player. Best wishes to him and thoughts and prayers for him and his family.
-
Yep. If they were going to sit him, knowing what he is going through, they could at least have had the decency to call him in and do it face to face instead of calling him on his way to practice. If nothing else, they could have told him that he could have a leave of absence to take care of family matters rather than just telling him and the rest of the world that they were done with him. There's something to be said for compassion and allowing a man to leave with dignity.

Just throwing something out here: When Kronner gets back and has a chance to get his groove back, what would people think about putting him on the 1st PP unit and Nick on the 2nd? Nick has had trouble with his elbow, he hasn't been taking as many shots, and (to me) they seem to lack the firepower they once had. Nick is still a premier d-man, he just doesn't have the offense he once had. Nik was putting up points when he went down. Nick would add some stability and leadership to the 2nd unit. Thoughts?

His parents are from Haiti, and he has family there. It's not a pretty situation. It's hard to get ahold of your loved ones since much of the infrastructure has been damaged, and the people who would have been taking care of it are either dead, wounded, or fighting for survival. There's no reason they couldn't just make him a healthy scratch for the time being. To hit someone with this when they're going through a family crisis is low.

Malts' Tyler Kennnedy impression:

I'm sure y'all can guess how I feel about the Kronwall hit, given my name and avatar, but other than that, I have always liked Georgie. I don't care who a player is or what stage of his career he is in. If you are going to get rid of him, at least give him an out. Unless he refused to go anywhere and is content to take the buyout and retire, at least give the guy a chance to be claimed by someone. Even if no one claims him, send him down. Best of luck, ya big lug.

Cross the road. Knock knock tend to be too predictable. Nails polished or plain?

Opposing fans? Pah! LGW will implode!
