Actually, that's pretty low on my list. If I had the time and money there are dozens of things I'd rather do. Not that there's anything wrong with cruises. The person below me has taken a kid to a petting zoo.

I've done it a couple of times. I like it because it's the most time-efficient way to reach your destination. If time is not a problem, I'd rather drive, unless I'm going somewhere where i won't be able to drive and/or park. Then I'd prefer to take a train. If I'm going overseas, flying is the best option of the three. The person below me has a pilot's license.

Hudler was making 1.15 on an RFA contract. He was due for a raise. I forget offhand what he got in arbitration, but I believe it was just over 2. In the KHL he's making something like 5 per year. (I'm going from memory. If someone remembers exactly, please correct me.) So let me ask you this: Suppose you are making $20,000 a year at your job. You know you deserve a raise. Your boss says they can't fit it into the budget right now. Do you: a) keep working for $20,000 a year. b) go to a competitor who will pay you what you are worth (~$40,000) and take the risk of never returning. c) make an agreement to come back to your company for $40,000 per year when they can afford you, and then go to a non-competitor and make $80,000 for a couple of years whilst gaining valuable experience that will serve you well when you return to your own company. I've been with the same company for 11 years, and I know what I'd do. I'd take option C.

Nope. The last one died a couple of years ago at the age of 90. The person below me likes cucumbers.

Had we known last summer how many injuries we'd have this year, we almost could have signed Huds for what he was worth. Since we couldn't, we didn't. Instead we stashed him in the minors without him having to clear waivers, for all intents and purposes. He'll be back when we have cap space for him.

They didn't have internet or light lasers when I lived there. Of course, I moved back to the States around the time Maltby was born, so that might have something to do with it...

I watched the 4th quarter of the Packers/Cardinals game. I slept through the rest. The person below me saves wrapping paper to use again the next year.

I believe it. As I recall, he was quoted as saying it. The Wings couldn't afford him at what he wanted. The arbitration assures him a spot with the Wings when they can afford him, and he gets as good experience as if he was playing in the minors without having to be exposed to waivers. That's how I'm looking at it. He was sent down for a year or two. When he comes back, we have him at a good price. It would have been a win-win situation except that we could have really used him because of injuries this year.

They would call the penalty against the team whose fan was shining the light. Assuming that fans know which goalie is theirs, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Of course if they get an equal-opportunity idiot who is just there to annoy people, that kills my plan. Yelling and screaming and banging the glass is one thing, but lasers are potentially hazardous. I'd say find the guy and make him apologize to the team- in a dark alley. The team members may not actually do anything, but they'd be sure to give him a good scare. Or make him clean the goalie's equipment with his tongue.

I was always more fond of Rowlf. Side note: I love the way that the Muppets made the Arts entertaining. Good entertainment for kids. Good and good for them. Sprite, 7-up, or Sierra Mist?
-
My friend has a t-shirt. On the front it says "make 7", on the back it says "up yours". I do not know if I want to or not. I could buy some, and it would be mine, I guess, but does that make 7-up mine, or just that one serving? Too deep. I'll stick with Sprite. The person below me likes the Sprite in you... um... them.

Coffee with hot chocolate. Hold the coffee. Feather pillows or foam?

Usually, but not always. The person below me is sick of running around and wishes they had a day to just do what ever they wanted to.

If I ever get over my fear of needles, I would like tattoos on my arm. I want the Red Wings logo and the Lions logo on my right arm, and the Luther Seal on my left. I would have them up high enough that I could cover them if I wanted to. Drinking glass: Glass or plastic?

I have a second cousin in France. I also have a couple deployed in the military, although that doesn't count as living there. The person below me wishes life came with a mute button.

That was great. I wonder if the other Lions (Detroit) are losing because they know in their hearts that they are that great? I own Swedish and Finnish jerseys, so those are my teams after US (where I live) and Canada (where I used to live). I just hate to have to choose between Sweden and Finland.

Oh, now I understand why guys brag that they got a fat head. She'll certainly give you one.

Um, he figured that was the only place Lebda would possibly shoot, and he wanted to be there for it?

If it's just one kind of fruit, I'll go fruity, but since they have all these newfangled combinations of fruits, I generally stick with minty, although I'm not much of a gum-chewer. Wear your hair long or short?

I never watch it. If I want to know about something, I peruse the newspaper and get the bit that I need whilst skimming the hype and twisting. The person below me wishes they could go shopping (as in had time and/or money to do so).
-
In all fairness, he was practicing redirecting shots. Who can shoot a shot that needs more redirecting than Lebda?
-
Hugs FTW. You can comfortably get hugs from a lot more people than you would want to kiss you. Green peppers or red peppers?
-
I tend not to think, and when I do, I sometimes do it with other people around. The person below me avoids certain topics of conversation.

Didn't someone say that Kronwall wore those? Or am I confused on this issue?
