I believe that wishes traditionally come in threes... 1) Bettman resigns. 2) We get healthy. 3) Unprintable, and would cause my bf to smack me.

Just knowing that he's there and willing is enough for me. If the refs won't let him/there are no takers/it's not the right time/we can't afford another injury at the moment/whatever his reason, that's fine. If s*** hits the fan, he won't fan on the s***. Or something.

Depends on the time of winter. If it's Feb 2010, Vancouver. Otherwise "hola, Mexico". All-access pass at the Olympics, or season tickets at the Joe?
-
I have. I have also seen the Gulf of Mexico. The person below me is glad we got Eaves.

I stand corrected.

I think we can narrow it down to someone on or rooting for another team, or someone waaaaaaaay down on the GR depth chart.

Nope, Stevie's doing just fine and dandy (knock wood). The person below me attends funerals more for the family than for the deceased.

You were a hooker? Wow. You don't seem the type. Monopoly if I'm playing it with only a couple of people. Glazed or powdered sugar donuts?

Each serves its own purpose, but I get more laughs and smiles here. Checkers or chess?

HA!!! Hardly any. I'm anxious for January to get here so I actually have a bit of time. The person below me is glad the Brad Stuart is a Wing.

Stuart for President. Prime Minister.

Eurotwins get it going tonight. Wings 5 (Hank x2, Dats x2, Bert) Yotes 4 (Doan x2, Upshall, Lebda on an oopsie)

Usually chicken but sometimes I'm in the mood for tuna. Getting just a Christmas card, or getting a brief letter with it?

I think I have one around here somewhere from my elementary music classes (teaching, that is). The person below me slept a lot this weekend to make up for a lack of sleep, and it felt darn good.

Chocolate- I hate fish eyes staring at me. Granite or formica?

I suck at hockey compared to turnovers. Hey! It works both ways!

That's just disturbing. Funny, but disturbing.

Should the Wings Allow Players to Play in the Olympics?
55fan replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
What? And miss perfect opportunities to take out Crosby, Ovechkin, Pronger... Nah, I'm just kidding there. I do see what you're saying, but this is an event that will come along only once or twice for some of these guys. Maybe 3 or 4 times for an elite player, but still it's a rare occasion in the grand scheme of things. The game is less violent on the Olympic level (talking about fighting here), so there's a slightly less chance of injury due to that. Sure, they can trip or catch their skate in a rut, but that sort of thing can happen anywhere. We can rest our depth, and give the guys who aren't going a chance to be with their families and to maybe nurse a few nagging pains. From a fan's perspective, I like having NHL players in the Olympics. To be honest, it's the only reason I watch or even pay attention to the Games. Plus it means a lot to the players to know that the franchise supports them as people. Remember back in '06 when we let the Swedes stay and celebrate with their countrymen? That meant a lot to them. When their contracts come up, they will remember how they are treated by the organization. Look at the discount we got for Hank. If we were talking about the World Cup, I'd have a totally different opinion. That just wouldn't be feasible at all, but the Olympics is a couple of weeks every four years. I say let them go and play. -
Technically, the oven can just be the inside part without the burners, so I'll take the stove to be sure. Electric or gas stove/oven?

It's the thought that counts. Even if it can't be exchanged, someone can probably use it. Apple or cherry turnovers?
