Working. Midnight-? (probably 9 am) and then back for a 12-hour graveyard at 11 pm. Your food is almost hot enough: nuke it longer or just eat it?
-
I'd have taken stick every time until I broke my right hand. Now I'll take automatic. Just in case. Go to work early and get done early or go in late and have to stay late?
-
Yeah, we don't want to be seen in this again.

What's sad is that I couldn't remember why that name sounded familiar. I thought I was combining Drew and Stafford and getting Drew Stafford, who doesn't even play football. Apparently I've just blocked that horrible time out of my memory. This week we gave up too early. You could see it on the bench. Hopefully they will move on and do well on Thanksgiving.

Good for him. There are a lot of things in life that a person can do to make the world a better place, but not a lot of people make the time or effort to do them.

Snowman. (although it's usually a snow woman because I've never been too good at making snowballs) Better gift: Candy or flowers?

14 Yr Old Collapse On Ice Later Passes Away

The Star-Tribune reported that he had a heart condition. Very sad. -
That is the weirdest GDT I've ever seen. Good job. You can't spell WINGS without WIN. and you can't spell BLUE JACKETS without LACK T. I don't know what that means. I'm just reporting it.

So we'll be sponsored by casinos in Las Vegas, where they aren't even discussing having a team?
-
That was the year they drafted alphabetically. ... or so Z joked at the time.

This sounds like, "No, really, we're just friends." Then the next week (the day after his divorce is final), "We're engaged!"

Nonetheless, these are the Lions. They are more adept at finding creative ways to disappoint and dash my hopes than any man I ever met on the dating scene.

Doesn't he live on Drury lane? Momma told me to stay away from that place. Lots of battering going on. A couple of eggs went there last week and were beaten. The person below me would (or has) purchased marijuana if it became (or is) legal in their home state, even if just to say you'd done it.

I think it's possible. We still have several games left in our division. If we can pull those off, I'd say we're play-off bound. <knocks every wood thing in the house>

Homer Improvement? There's a show in this.
-
I hope this does the trick and you can get better.
-
So discussions are limited to when Daly is having an out-of-body-experience?
-
I hope so! The person below me is getting ulcers from all those leads that the Lions blow in the third quarter.

Depending on the severity of the flu, I'll go with a sinus infection. If it's not a bad flu- you know, just the "don't feel good" kind, then I'll take the flu. If it comes with all the symptoms, I'll take my chances with the sinuses. Wait until you figure out EXACTLY what you're craving or just eat something because it's time to eat and you're hungry?

How about we compromise and the players wear baseball caps with logos on them during interviews? I could deal with that and the companies get their advertising. Sorry, Jagr, you're the oldest in the league. You have to wear the geritol hat. Sorry, Zetterberg, you just aren't a believable spokesman for shaving cream. Yes, Datsyuk, you can have the Dr. Rhamani hat. For the last time, Perry, you were voted by your peers as the one to wear the Summer's Eve hat. This could lead to fun on a whole new level.

There's a kid on the local USHL team whose last name is Roo. I want to see him play for the Devils. Tootoo to Ruutu to Roo would be the best play-by-play ever. No Tootoo tonight. Come on, Wings, do this!

Detroit Red Wing Boots LA Burger Kings Analheim Duck Tape (yes, it's duct tape, but Duck Tape is a brand) Pittsburgh Paint Penguins Boston Baked Beans Bruins Colorado Chevrolet Avalanche New Jersey Devil's Food Cake by Betty Crocker New York Ford Rangers Even tie-ins don't sound good. Ads would be worse.

Force of habit.

I thought it looked like leg/groin, but I guess I'll take his word for it. I like Mrazek. Maybe the rest of the team will give him some support and we'll be fine.

It's a 6-2 team. Think of how we'd be doing if we'd had a kicker at the start of the season. That kind of balances out the breaks. It helps that we're doing well against the rest of the North. I think the big test will be Thanksgiving day. If we can win then, we can win anything. It's more of a matter of breaking that Thanksgiving curse we've been under these last couple of decades. I'm cautiously optimistic.
