NBC will broadcast HNIC in the US. PBS will carry a game each Friday night, preceded by a documentary on the home country of one of the players so that it will be considered educational. BHN (Balsillie Hockey Network) will carry games every night that a game is played. As a concession for receiving a team, Jim's network will be available so cheap that everyone will be able to get it no matter where they live or which carrier they have. With more people able to watch hockey, fanship swells 34% (14 people) in most southern states. It is resolved that future meetings between the owners/GM's, the media, and NHLPA will take place at Cheli's, but that there will be a ban on either cameras or strippers.

Pasha gets his 100 point season. Hank misses a series of games in March, causing panic, but is back for a stellar playoff performance. Filppula has a great season, and people learn to spell his name right. Maltby, realizing that this is his last chance before retiring, plays his heart out in the playoffs. Cleary scores 20 goals in the playoffs by using his beard as a cover for an extra stick. Kopecky scores a goal for Chi. Crosby joins the Facial Hair Club for Men, is mistaken for Bertuzzi, and is not allowed his own press conference after getting an assist. Russia gets the Gold. No one notices that there is no All-Star game. Conn Smythe is a tie between Belfour and Cloutier. (I won't tell you which teams they are playing for.)

Crosby was the first one to come to mind for me. Don't be afraid to mention him. It's nice to see him mentioned in a place where mention of him actually belongs. Can't think of any others off-hand besides what has been mentioned.
