This is interesting. I was under the impression that Huds would be bound by the arbitration decision if and when he came back to the NHL, but I didn't think that going over there would be questioned. At least not by non-Wings fans. I really don't know how this is going to turn out, but no matter what they do, it will have an effect on things in the future. Is there a precedent for someone electing to go to arbitration and then changing their mind and playing in the SEL, for example? If they truly were going to let Huds go and have him come back when we have more cap space, which would be in the best interest of both Huds and the team's future after this season, then this really puts a monkey wrench in those plans.

Either one, as long as it's not "I don't no". That drives me nuts. I work with too many people who don't speak very good English, so when I hear "I don't no..." it's usually the start of a sentence meaning "I don't have any..." Like "I don't no knife not to opening box." So when I see that, I go crazy wondering what they are lacking. Typing one word when one means another is one of my pet peeves. Staffan Kronwall or Ilari Filppula?

I've never done it, but I have young friends who do. The person below me has a file cabinet.

Love oranges! I can't eat too many because of the acid content, but I do love them. The person below me will stop to pick up a penny.

Agree with this assessment. You just couldn't help but pull for the guy to make it.

You're probably in bed right now. The person below me likes to eat some types of veggies right out of the can.

At the time you posted I was. I was watching some videos on youtube. The person below me can get lost on youtube for hours.

I did because I don't think they'll be marginal, nor do I think they will fail. It was the only choice left. They won't be 2.0 of course. As you say, that can't happen. Maybe they'll be Broad Street Bullies of the New Century. Or Broad Steet Bullies a la Bettman. Or BSB:TNG. Anyway, I just chose it becuase it was the closest to what I see happening.

I hate mosquitoes. (Spelling hint: look to see if the word is underlined in red. Yeah, red. Just like the background. Impossible to see.) The person below me loves it when they find non-perishable food items that they eat regularly on sale at an insane price, and then buys a ton of them, but gets so sick of them that they can't even look at them.

Hey, I didn't start the topic. I uselessly banter in the water cooler as well. Perhaps this thread will get moved there.

Maybe you'd prefer to join the throng announcing old news or bemoaning the loss of Phil Intheblank? There are other threads. Read them instead.

I'll put it to you this way. The year I was born, the Cup had been won (season was over). The next calendar year was the first Cup awarded in my lifetime. The winner of that Cup was the Maple Leafs.

But it's seriously a song?

I hope Downey has kids so he can pass this on to the tater tots.

It's when you're in the upstairs bathroom and you draw a long line between two other lines which form a right angle whilst you're doing your business.

Please tell me those aren't seriously songs.

I do! The potential is apparent in the Doomsday and WHO DO WE TARGET NOW threads. I'm having a ball. The person below me wonders if hockey players are having a puck if they are enjoying themselves.

I see what you did... ... former Blue. Former Blues? Um. Former member of the Blues.

Good heavens. No wonder this generation is illiterate.

I like grits. Ooh, speaking of gritty- let's sign Campbell. I hear Chicago's looking to trade him.

Bang the Land Lady. Can't help you with Cam.

I meant 1980. I was a freshman in high school. I forgot to account for graduation being the year after October, if that makes sense.

the 1812 Overture by that Russian guy.

I know the ID 10 T, but what's a pebmak?

I haven't skated since October of 1981, ironically the same time Zata was born. I gave him all of my talent. I could be a goalie. I'd take up the whole net so nothing could get in.
