Mike Grier is sexy. So's Parros. Let's get them both.

Just play along, Luv. If the thread's gonna get deleted, might as well have some fun with it. I hear there's some guy that's actually from Detroit that's looking for a job. Kilpatrik or something. Odd first name, also started with a K. Big guy. Known for stickwork so fast that no one notices at the time. Folks have to hear about it later.

Doubtful. The prospective lineup that I saw (don't remember where) had Val on the 3rd line.
-
Hmm. Forget Probert, then. Skill guy.

Chicago's chasing him. 10-year, $240.000 contract ($240,000 this side of the pond). Front loaded. They don't know it will take effect after he turns 35.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Olympics trumps the All(most) Star Weekend. As to the future, didn't I hear a rumour that they were going to quit the Youngstars? Please correct or confirm. I'd like to see it continue with actual Red Wings in it.

I don't know who he plays for, but sign him quick, Kenny!

I haven't cut my hair since June 2005. Here's proof (taken about a month ago). The person below me has donated hair to Locks of Love.

You're right that it is financially risky. Hopefully since Huds is still young, he can get back into the NHL if it all goes south in Moscow. And hopefully we still get the picks if someone else signs him.

I said in a post in another Hudler thread (search for the word Midol, if you're interested in reading it- it was in that post) that Huds didn't seem to fit here. Not a checker, not a top 6, not really anything. Lines got juggled a lot last year. No one played with the same linemates for very long. Moreso than others, Huddler never really had a place, as he said in the one article about 7 pages back. Truth is, he was bounced around like a DD boob on a bra-less horseback rider. He may have fit in well in the locker room. He seemed to get along well with the players. He gave great interviews, and no one will cluck like him. We will never forget the "Let's Go Red Vings" from the parade, but on the ice? Well...he was clutch in the shootout, and did pretty well in the playoffs, but he never really had a place. Whenever I'd try to make up lines, he was the one I always left out and had to think of whom I was missing. So he has found a place where they have a role for him. He is closer to home. He is getting paid more, which is important at a young age in a career where you can lose it all with one bad hit. He's the one who has to live his life. He has to live it where he can be happy. If he feels he has the best chance in Moscow, then that's where he needs to go. He has two years to decide if he wants to stay or keep looking for happiness. I'm going to miss the guy, but I understand that what is best for one person may be miserable for another. Just because Huddie didn't feel that he fit here doesn't make it a bad place; it just means it wasn't the right place for him. Good luck, Huds. Cluck. Cluck.

I have no play list. I have old tapes and CDs. My significant other is a hamster, so no need for Angry Hamster Tunes either, although I suppose I could listen to the Chipmunks. The person below me would get in a bar fight for a friend no matter how old/out of shape/inexperienced they are.

I have piercings (ears only, but 9 holes- kind of a half golf course on my head). I would like a tattoo, but I'm chicken. I'm also middle-aged and fat, so I worry that if I get something, it won't look right when I'm old and saggier. Maybe I'll get a rose. That way if it ends up long-stemmed I can say I planned it that way. Wine. Not much of a rum drinker. I only go for the cheap wines, though. Boone's, Arbor Mist, Mogen David. Nothing that tastes good to those in the know. Starburst or Jolly Ranchers?

Janik is a hockey player. Has done some fighting, will probably be in GR as he is a d-man. Not on lunch break, but will be heading off of the computer anyway. The person below me has read Blood Feud.

Salt. Can't stand pepper, and I don't use much salt. Sleep or LGW?

They raise a lot of vegetables in New Jersey. Maybe they could trade him. Seriously- if a player actually dies, the team still is on the hook for the contract? Wow. Does this only apply to over-35ers or to all players?
-
Stick. Underwires or no underwires?

I saw the thread in the GD, so I guess that's a yes. Or maybe a no, if you mean that I just found out when I read your post. The person below me can't believe I'm still awake. (Got off work at 6 am. Have to be back at 6 pm. Usual bedtime is between 9 and 10 am. It is now 12:51 pm in my time zone.)

Bless your heart, Loo. You put one up I understand. Waxed. North or South Carolina?
-
If he gets hit by the bus and lives, he is on LTIR, but what happens if he dies? Does his contract come off the books then? I did a fast search of the CBA, but the only thing I found about death was the section on life insurance.

Right. Larionov and Forsberg are fighting on the ice, and Mac was coming over to ask if Lemieux had any Grey Poupon. Sorry, I haven't fought a real fist-throwing fight since 4th grade, and my hands come flying up if someone comes up to me like that. I usually end up looking stupid, but that's beside the point. If Claude wasn't ready, it was his own fault. There had been fights and fightlettes already in that game, and everyone knew it was coming.

If you look at frame by frame during the first second, you can see that LePew was looking at Mac as Mac hit him. Seriously, he saw him coming. It was not a jump from behind as Avs fans at the time claimed. Start the video, hit pause, then go back to the start and click-click slowly through the first second of the video. Pepe saw it coming, got smacked, and turtled. Also a of Clod hitting Koslov, the Hit on Draper, and the rematch between Mac and Clod. This is what I remember of Claude Lemieux's career:

Francois Leroux. Also got help from his roomie Jeff Odgers.
