    2009 NHL Entry Draft GDT

    So we're going with Mozambiquians?

    2009 NHL Entry Draft GDT

So what do you folks know about Landon Ferraro? I liked his dad, or at least the inner ***** in me did.

Tim's voice sounds like Homer. Jah, for sure.

    2009 NHL Entry Draft GDT

Interesting. So it's a variation? And speaking of Tim, there he goes...

Plus it's a nice filler whilst we wait. And an opportunity to learn. Can't pass on that.

Interesting spelling on Erixon. Any of our resident linguists care to comment?

Yes, in the event that Nazi-fighting linguists need to add muscle without slowing down, they're in luck.

Leblanc is pretty exciting. I saw him against the Force in Fargo (USHL).

    2009 NHL Entry Draft GDT

Well, Kassian is gone (not that I had my hopes up), so now I'm not sure who to pull for.

    Chris Pronger traded to Philly

    Tuh, he's not man enough.

    Chris Pronger traded to Philly

I was thinking the same thing. Those two are big ones for me.

That Islanders trade made no sense to me either, but what do I know?

    Chris Pronger traded to Philly

Trade Getz to the Kings or Leafs and it will be irrelevant. Yeah, like that's going to happen.

Ok, that was so unexpected that it brought tears of laughter. Thanks, man.

Glennie was the first I noticed who had a blank one. Schenn definately had his because I checked the spelling before I made my post about him. (Can never remember if it's 1 n or 2.)

    2009 NHL Entry Draft GDT

Dumb question, but how many jerseys do they make with different guys' names on them? At what point do they just have to go up with a blank jersey? Or do they just have someone on the phone with a printing press? Looks like Glennie got a blank one.

    The person below me game...

My neighbour's boss's son played for GR. (Mark Cullen) The person below me is watching the draft.

    This or That

If I'm serving others, home made. If I'm eating by myself, delivery (if I can afford it). Chocolates or mints?

I'm happy for LA. I like them as a 2nd/3rd fave. Schenn is a good pick for them.

    The person below me game...

I've never been to Detroit, so I can't answer that. The person below me takes bubble baths.

    A bunch of Wings signings

I think he's the one they had listed as Sairhei Kolasau, but changed the spelling. If that helps any.

    Cap questions,buyouts and retirements

Thanks so much for your reply. No wonder I've been confused. So if a team is up against the cap (for the purposes of ease in math, let's use round numbers) in a year where the cap is $50, and they have a large number of injured players, they can only spend a total of $55 for both the injured players and their replacements, regardless of who replaces whom?

    Samuelsson Selling His House?

I would pay to see Sammy smack down the Jonas Bothers (on the ice, of course; not cricket to do it on the street). I saw an interview where Sammy was asked what his future was with the team. He gave the stock answer of "won't know anything until the numbers have been announced blah, blah, blah. Mr Holland's working on it, etc." He said the right things, but he had the sad little puppy-dog face, and looked years beyond his age. I think he knows his time here is probably over. Of course, the interview took place right after the last game, so some of the emotion could have been from that, but he seemed to get more Basset Hound-looking when they asked him about his future with the team.
