    Clutch Player predictions

The game may be on Friday the 12th, but I think #13 will come up big for both teams. Then Malts will get the GWG and shock the heck out of everyone.

    Stanley Cup's Resolutions

No, I goofed the first time I posted. That's why there's an edit. If the Wings win, it gets cut off and goes to charity. If they lose, it stays on my head. Sorry about that. I just got done watching the tape of last night's game and I'm still a bit upset, although impressed with Scuderi.

I posted this in the resolutions thread, but I promised that if the Wings win, I'll cut off my hair. Is that nuts?

Oh, my goodness. I just got done watching the video of last night's game. I could puke. I want the Wings to win really really badly.

    Stanley Cup's Resolutions

No way on this earth I will quit smoking. Winners never quit; quitters never win. I do have a resolution, however. Yes, I am desperate for the Wings to win. If the Wings win on Friday, I will cut my hair and give it to charity. I will cut it to the neck. Here's a pic of it now. Sorry for the poor quality, but I was using 2 mirrors to take a pic of myself. Yeah, it's down to my butt. If the Wings win, it goes. And I'll post a pic. Serious.

    This or That

Good heavens, man. Betty or Veronica? Your 30 second time out has expired. Snap the ball, throw the pitch or get your stick on the ice!

    This or That

You said "refs or umps" I changed the beginning consonant. refs/umps; F's/rumps. Just didn't have anything intelligent to say. If you prefer, go with this one: Betty or Veronica?

    The person below me game...

Not unless you count work as a work-out. The person below me has a bittersweet feeling about the end of the season because it will be someone's last game as a Wing.

    BETTMAN IN PHOENIX.

He just didn't want to have to sit through an actual hockey game. We saw how bored and lost he looked at the last one. Poor guy. Attending hockey games must be to him what attending a symposium on flax seed would be for me.
  11. He's the only one. Even the guys don't look like real boys. Gonchar=EEEEEEWWWWWWW as a woman.
  12. Cool...another thread talking about a poster and not the original topic. I'll try anyway. The great irony of this is that Hossa has to play against Pit to win the Cup. It would be much greater had Atlanta won the East this year. Yeah, it wasn't going to happen, but can you imagine the storyline? The arguements that "he was traded he couldn't help it" pitted against the "he demanded the trade" arguements. It would have been fun. It would have been like if St. Louis had faced Det in the WCF last year leaving Drake to wonder if he'd done the right thing. Or if the Leafs beat Vancouver for the Cup this year. Hossa took a chance, but it was a calculated one. We hope it was the right one. Soon, we'll know.
  13. The game starts at 7:00 here. I work at 6:00. I should be sleeping, but I can't because I'm nervous. I have the VCR set and have checked the timer 3 times to make sure I have it on the right day/channel/time. I so thought of taking the night off, but don't have the personal time to use. I get off at 6:00 tomorrow morning, drop off 2 co-workers and then get to come home and watch the tape. I'm a freak right now.

I could go with that one!

Yes, and it's just as bad when they say "if I'm Mike Babcock..." Dude, unless you're Murph, Mike Babcock has better hair. Look in the mirror if you aren't sure.

    Debating another jersey.

OOOOOOOOOOOOH! Thank you for the video! That's my hamster's favourite song, but I never saw a video for it. I am so going to have to show it to him when he wakes up. Back on topic. Thanks C-town Wing for the post. It was very informative. I like calling them sweaters too. Casey- I'm not sure how you feel about him, but I'd say Mac's legend is pretty secure in Detroit. Same could be said for Homer, Draper and Malt, although of this group, only Homer was a lifer.

I finally snapped this year and told a friend that the Y in Yzerman was not pronounced like as in Yarn. She was stunned.

    The person below me game...

I have never been to a game in the Joe. I've only been to Wild games when they play the Wings. (DKM- the sign also says CLEAN REST ROOMS. When you do that, someone will be along to wash your hands.) The person below me thinks putting me and DKM in an apartment together would make a great reality show. 2 bedrooms, of course.

    Crosby is Jealous of Zetterberg

When I was 21, I was getting away from drugs and making plans to go to college. I'd say Sid is a step or two ahead of where I was at that age, although I had my own place. Give the Kid a few years. He'll grow into his position.

I don't get to see that many games so I haven't heard that. Are they really pronouncing carom as though it was the name of a basketball player from my childhood?

    Anyone want a laugh?

I'm a middle-aged woman, so I know nothing about whether or not a girl is hot and sexy or not, but I thought they were nice-looking girls. For a bit, I thought they were rocking playoff bracelets, but the one on the left looked more like a brace, and the one on the right seemed to have red and yellow. Cute song, though.

    Freezing the foot...?

Yep, from what I understand, they hurt like a sonofagun. My 68-year-old mother usually spends the rest of the day lying down. I also remember Cheli missing a game because they numbed the wrong leg and he couldn't skate.

    This or That

Don't drink tea nor do I golf, so I'll have to go with t-time. Any time the dress code involves a t-shirt, it's a good thing. Chocolate or vanilla?
