They are totally out of order, and I've given up trying to keep them in order, but they are all there. Last night during the game I was at work. I was going over them saying the names of the players as I rubbed each of the beads. It was kind of calming.

DET/CHI 4-2 PIT/CAR 3-4 I dropped like a rock! Uffda! Last round was bad.

Gas for cooking. Would prefer electric for heating, but I have gas. Bo or Luke?

No cacti here. The person below me has more than one set of bongos.

I'll give up cheers for those guys. I wasn't in the GDT, so I'll use this opportunity to give my "That's My Sammy!" cheer. Sad thing is that Sammy and Huds are FA this summer. Depth indeed! They shut down our top guys and we get out the secondary, tertiary, and (oh, crap someone once told me what the word was) quadiary (?) scoring! With Helm and Ericsson coming up, the future looks bright!

Gee, and at one time during the season I had "I still believe in Chris Osgood" as my sig line. Guess what? I still do! Way to go, Oz. You're the Man!

He signed his contract after age 35, didn't he? With the cap what it is, they almost have to play him or risk losing him to waivers (not that he would be snatched up, but you know...) I love the guy, but after his contract is up, I do see him hanging them up. He's still a frequent spokesman for the players in interviews and such. Perhaps he might get into something in the media field?

Thanks Duck Guy (and other classy Duck fans). I would be crying in my drink right about now if things had gone the other way. Big hugs to you.

Helm is making me excited about the future. Once I worried about what would happen when we lost Drapes and Malts, but now I know we have great things in store. Helm won me over last year, and has continued to impress. He also looks darling in interviews. He's still a bit overwhelmed by it all.

Don't know about Joannette, but Devorski was the one who only issued Mac a double-minor for his fight against the Turtle, which kept Mac from getting kicked out of the game and so he was there to score the OT goal. Of course, that was 12 years, 1 month and 18 days ago, so things may have changed since then...- 1,913 replies

I own 2 of them. One was my dad's, published in the mid-50's. Defines "bisexual" as a type of plant with both pistol and stamen. The newer one has all sorts of words and phrases containing the word "f***" with the disclaimer that they are usually considered vulgar. The person below me would like some chocolate right about now.

Yeah, that's one of the things in life I prefer to do myself. Had an ex-boyfriend who wanted to do it for me, but he was odd. The person below me is stressing about the game tonight.

He is there because he's a member of the team who is something like 1,354th in line for a 4th line spot. The Wings are deep, and this is good. If he provides some positive vibes in the locker room, gives a few fighting tips for use in self-defense, and does his usual good job of fan interaction, who is he hurting? It's not like he's going to see any ice time. It also gives some of us older folks an opportunity to remember what he has done and be grateful that he has worn the Winged Wheel. What's the harm?
-
And I'm not understanding a word of it because I'm too old Except Corey Hart. I remember him. Don't bring in anything that looks like a gun. Consider the Octopus to be the natural enemy of the Duck.

I say they will combine what works with what they want to do. They will control the puck and take it to the net, and if the Ducks get the puck, they will smash the life out of them to get the puck back. Potent offense plus defense with a nasty side. Works for me.

Al Sobotka comes through again with perfect ice. The Ducks don't know how to play on it; the Wings do. Wings win. Win it for Al!- 1,913 replies

This is perhaps the most intelligent thing I have read on the internet in quite some time. The Wings have been playing like someone put Sominex in their Gatorade all year long. When they shake off that attitude, they are a force to be reckoned with. Tomorrow is the first time all year that they are risking elimination. I see no reason for them not to come out firing. Bad ice, bad refs, bad bounces, posts, and injuries can and do happen. Despite these things, the Wings have what it takes to rise above them if they just play the game they can.

He kept his glove on because as Pavel tossed off his helmet, the brave NA Captain who showed up for a full season was making sure his visor was secure. Pavel's hands are too important to the Wings to risk cutting them on Feminine Protection Products.

You're right! No one put 1997 in the title of the thread, therefore we must not discuss March 26th as though any other year contained such a date. Bloody Wednesday was needed in 1997. As far as 2009 goes, we shall see tomorrow, and there are plenty of topics discussing 2009. The tie-in is the fighting. Will Tuesday night spark the Wings like 3/26/97 did? Probably not. There was a lot more riding on that fight back then. The fact that 2009 is different from 1997 doesn't mean that we can't discuss 1997.

Whoa. How do you do that. I am not you. The person below me thinks this is really cool (after the first 40 seconds, which are boring):
