Sammy steps it up in the playoffs. I will never bash him again after he embarrassed me in game 1 vs Pit. I was ragging on about him getting the puck, telling my friend that he never scores, and he did. Then I told her it was a fluke, and he scored again. Crap. Tie game. Come on, Sammy, be a hero now that I've stuck up for you.

Franzen: Yup, he's ours. See pinned thread for details. Cheli: apparently used to play forward in his youth (took faceoffs against Plato) and is in at forward now due to the Draper "upper body injury". Conk: hadn't woken up yet, I guess.

I don't know about "off" but with all the talk about Datsyuk lately, it seems like Hank is in the shadows since he signed his contract. Not that Pavel doesn't deserve the attention, but we've been focused on other things- Pav and Lids' milestones, Mule and Hossa's contract negotiations, goalie wars- and Hank has just kept playing quietly but effectively.

Get Davidson out of the tub and we'll talk. I feel more comfortable with a lead. I have to admit that the quick goal at the beginning took some wind out of my sails. I was hoping that it would spark the guys and they'd come back flying, but I guess not. I hadn't been aware that Cheli had once been a forward. Any word on Drapes' injury, other than "upper body"?

That's more like it. Good on Hank. After last year's Conn Smythe, I'm hoping he has a really good playoff run this year as well. And hopefully some of the other Wings will give him a run for the money.

Even though it is meaningless, you'd think that the guys would be trying to get Lids and Pav their milestone points, or at least playing for the honour of the octopus after that commercial.

The game's half over, and we're still on page 5. Is the game boring, or are we? So... to spark comments, since I don't actually see the game... How's Cheli looking at forward? How are the refs doing at calling things? Any comments on Mule's contract? Anything else of interest? Ooh, power play! Let's do it, boys!
