Yes! Awesome. Thanks for the info. I knew someone here would know.

Everything is panelling except a few that are wallpapered. I'm fixin to do the floor next. I have a coffee table where the boards have broken through, and pieces of paper where it's cracking so I don't step there. Although I did my bathroom a couple of years ago and did a nifty job if I do say so myself. The person below me sometimes eats lunch and then thinks, "I really am hungry for ______" and it's too late because they've already eaten.

Bleeding vein likely to keep Lilja out for start of postseason
55fan replied to HockeytownRules19's topic in General
They used to say it on MASH as well. About the only thing I know about it is that subdural refers to under (sub) the dura mater. Dura mater translates as "tough mother". Get well soon, Lils, you're one dura mater. -
Osgood says he is ready to lead the team in the playoffs
55fan replied to CenterIce's topic in General
In my extremely biased opinion, that's what they should have done. Poor Manny could have gone to StL and had a stellar career. Oh, wait... As much of an Osgood fan as I am, I understand them choosing Hasek. I admit bias on the Legace issue. -
Oh, Loo. You know there's one I want to ride, but no, I've never driven one before. The person below me finds the water cooler a nice break from real life.

The freep has a photo gallery "best of Lilja". Some good pics in there. Here's hoping that all will be well and he will return in good time when he's physically ready. -
Oh, the torture: Miss the game for a prior committment, or use the ailing back as an excuse to be home for the game. The battle of my integrity will be more fierce than the battle on the ice. Wings win. Free Arby's on a hat trick from Maltby. Dats and Lids get their 100th and 1000th respectively. Sammy has a real fight, in which he kicks hindquarters. Ozzie makes highlight-reel saves that cause speculation as to whether or not he's psychic. Hossa or Franzen announce a new contract. Babs smiles. The GDT is full of happy, harmonious pleasantries. Either that or I will be home for the game and none of that will happen.

If someone would have told me yesterday that I'd be agreeing with someone who compared Aaron Downey to a part of the female anatomy generally reserved for insults, I would have thought they were crazy. Aaron is indeed a motivating presence. Energy, positive vibes, all the good things. Even if he doesn't lace up for the playoffs, the team is better having him in the locker room, and knowing he can be called up if a team is getting out of hand. Hey, it's at least 4 games against each team in the playoffs. He doesn't need to dress for the first couple. If the opponent is getting out of hand, we dress him for game 3 or 4 as needed. He's like ready reserve in your checking account. When you need it, you really need it and you need it fast. Hmm, kind of like what you were talking about.

Well, being the first-born, I guess you could say that, although I won't get graphic. Beyond that, nope. The person below me has thrown an octopus.

Yes, llamas are cool The person below me prefers horizontal blinds to vertical.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you counting that Drapes and Malts would still count against the cap? Unless I'm mistaken, they signed at an age of over 35. Or are you suggesting keeping Helm and Abdelkader in GR until they (Drapes and Malts) retire? Not sure how you meant that. Hire Cheli as D coach.

Oh, I am dull. The wildest thing I've ever copied is tax forms. The person below me has done their taxes for 2008.

Yes. I have a part time job on the weekends, and have been laid off of the full time job since Dec. I go back to the full time job on Monday, but I graduated in Dec. so I am looking for a job in my new field. The person below me prefers sweet pickles to dill.

Ya know, the Thrashers might just be on to something
55fan replied to Jersey Wing's topic in General
Maybe it's because he has a gf that he's so down on women. I agree with Micah (minus the sarcasm) about the slush sluts doing charity work. It's a good thing for them to do. We all have out talents. Some have them on the inside, others on the outside. As long as we all work together, using out talents to the best of our abilities, to make the world a better place, it's all good. I'm sure the girls know what they're getting into when they suit up. I'm also sure the guys who drool over them know they probably know that crusty slush has a better chance of being picked up by these gals than they do. All is well on the food chain. (LOL at Lundqvist too.) -
I liked Howard the Duck. The person below me likes window shopping. (I hate it.)

They show a montage of Dats' most amazing dekes, he skates up to the camera and says, "That how I do when I no have wind to my back."

Well, who wouldn't be? I mean, think about it: The guys have been spitting and blowing their noses on the ice. You get to grab a shovel and clean up after them. What woman wouldn't want to do that? And, unlike at home, you get paid for it (at least I assume these girls do). Plus you get a cute little outfit with cute accessories for free. And if that wasn't enough, drunk guys with beer guts get to make crude comments about what they'd like to do with you if you weren't wearing the cute outfit. It's the chance of a lifetime. Jealous? Heck, yeah. If I was young and cute, I'd so be there. Wouldn't you? -
That's why he says he just has one goal. He left out the part about no assists.

Disgraceful. What are they doing out of the kitchen? -
I know I've had it, but I can't remember when. Michigan rummy=good times. The person below me is sick of some food staple they got on sale and now have to use up before it goes bad.

Nope. No chores this weekend. Working Friday and Saturday and going to visit Mom on Sunday. Then Monday I'm back to work full time. The layoff is over. Nice for the checkbook, but I'm getting used to this working 2 days a week stuff. Going back to 40 hours Mon-Thurs plus the 16 hours on the weekend is going to be tough at first. I got to liking the lounging thing. The person below me is going visiting this weekend too.

Well, maybe that too. Seriously, though, kids and cute chicks get the attention. That's cool, though. When I was at a game in Minn in January, there was the cutest kid standing by the glass by the Wings bench and he knew all the players' numbers even though he didn't know how to read them yet. Koko and Lilja were tossing pucks to the kids, and Piet Van Zant handed me one over the glass when someone snatched the puck that Lilja had meant for the kid. Cool guys.

Ozzie's in good company. Congrats are indeed in order. OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE!

Nick. He'll never have his 1000th point again, but Dats can have as many 100 point seasons as he wants. Give Nick the puck on which the point was scored. Give Pav the puck from his 101st point. That'll keep him motivated (as if he needs it).
