What a dog actually hears, but who is the dog?

Ooh, don't go away, everyone- they're going to be interviewing Sidney!
-
Conk is looking fabulous.
-
Finally! Pavel- I love you!
-
Sid got a penalty for trying to pansy-hit Sammy, and Sammy got a penalty for not letting him.
-
I don't question his passion, but he has the IQ of slush- and doesn't know how to shut up.

Wait a minute... a young, tough Canadian is scared of a bunch of old, soft Euros?

Zion, you're so right. I'll have to go back and fix that. Thanks.

I'm assuming Kopy is in today. It will be interesting. He now realizes that LGW people are against re-signing him, so he wants to make a statement. In his first shift, he gets a goal to put the Wings up 1-0. In the second period, Crosby scores, but a Kronwall goal sends the Wings back into the lead. The third begins with a Pen defenseman scoring a goal, but no one will remember his name since the assist came from Crosby. With 7:10 to go in the game, Kopy has his great moment of hockey intuition. He skates up to Crosby and says (in Slovakian) "Wanna go?" Crosby, who speaks all languages, immediately translates this within earshot of an official. Kopy lets Sid throw the first punch and then fights him to a draw. They each get 5 for fighting, with Sid drawing the instigator penalty. With 34 seconds left in the game, Kopy gets the puck, and passes it to an open Hossa, who pots the GWG. Wings win 3-2, and the world goes crazy as Sid the Kid gets a GHHT. The next issue of THN has a cover story proclaiming "Sid Gets a Gordie!" with a little box side-story reading "Hossa's friend gets one too." Disclaimers: I actually like Sid. This is for amusement purposes only. Actual outcome is subject to change. Do not make monetary wagers based on these claims. EDIT due to inaccurate scenario. Thanks to Zion for pointing it out.

Morning Has Broken- Cat Stevens

Watching Cup videos from last summer, I noticed that Maltby was often mentioned (along with Drapes, Nick, and Cheli) as being a motivating force in the locker room. The younger guys talked about the leadership of the guys who've "been there, done that" when they were going through February. Malts and those older guys serve their purpose, and if shows in the locker room and during the playoffs. He has been turning it up lately, and I think it is because we need someone in a leadership role to do so. I have been wondering if he should ride off into the sunset after this contract is up, and he may well do that. Maybe he's realizing that the ride is almost over, and he needs to make the most of what's left. Whatever the reason: Go Malts!

Osgood...Osgood...Oh, yes, isn't he that nice young chap that people want to trade for Roloson?
-
Oh, yeah. I worked the night shift, got up for the game, and now I'm back to bed. Happy, but tired. The person below me keeps their clocks fast so they won't be late for things.

Bad Medicine- Bon Jovi

So am I correct in saying that the only Wings without points today are Cheli, Lilja, Helm and Franzen? If so, Mule is excused (due to injury) and those other 3 have to combine for a goal. Then we put Mule on for the ENG. EDIT: Wow is my internet connection slow! Game over. Great job, guys.

That's my Sammy!!!!!
-
So now we just need 8 more goals?
-
Nik is the one in the cool jersey.

Everyone out there in tv- radio- internet-land who said the word "shutout" is now on my bad side. Let this be a lesson to you that you don't mess with superstition, even if you are sexier than socks on a rooster.
-
Come on, now, guys. They got more shots, we need more goals. That's how it works.
-
Hmm...according to the ticker... We have 5 goals, they have 5 shots. Coincidence? Well, yeah. Probably.
-
Speaking of Hossa...GOAL! Anyway, I'm sure they won't sign Kopy unless Hossa's ink is dry.
-
Lilja will respond if they try anything.

geesh, got in a bit late. Did I miss anything? Actually, I did get in on things, but by the time I got caught up reading the posts, it was too late to cheer the goals individually. yay, boys! Keep it up!
