Nope- I live too far away. I went to one in January when they played the Wild (thanks, Dad). The person below me has made shadow pictures on the screen when the teacher was done showing a movie (this might date me).

Hudler, Hossa, Franzen , Sammy and Kopy try to outdo each other in light of their upcoming contract negotiations. Leino and Helm try to make impressions. Wings win 7-0.

I have no idea what a Cosi is. The person below me likes vanilla candles.

Thank you (and you, too Isbister). It was a retorical question, but thanks anyway. I'm sure we will never have to use it in conjunction with Hank. I had read that he told a Swedish paper quite a while ago that he wanted to stay here and would take less money to do so. I'm glad he's a man of his word. I have both kinds of crushes on Zata. I've got the "I love you, man! You're the greatest!" mancrush, and the "He's so sexy" bunnycrush. (Not that it matters, but I'm female- I don't have such a high opinion of myself that I expect others to run and check out my profile- and I was wondering if girls can have mancrushes too.) Welcome home, Hank. Enjoy your stay.

Nope. Never have. Just seem odd to me. The person below me has perkier boobs than Karen Newman.

North Dakota is out for a pro team. The Greater Fargo-Moorhead Metro area (such as it is) has only 100,000 residents. We have a new USHL team this year, and the people voted very strongly against taxpayer financing for the arena, which ended up happening anyway because the private parties who were building it ran out of money and "gifted" it to the city. There is still a bad taste in people's mouths about that. The UPC is the only arena in the area, and even that couldn't come close to hosting an NHL team. The Ralph in Grand Forks is better, but UND uses that. Moving south, Sioux Falls might be your best bet. They've had a USHL team for a while and I understand they're doing well. As far as fans go, Grand Forks is huge on hockey, and I understand Bismarck is too, although I don't know that personally. In Fargo, people wearing hockey apparel are as scarce as hens' teeth. That's why I'm here all the time. I need people to talk hockey with. You'd be better off in Regina. Seriously.

How do you say "lazy and he sucks" in Swedish?
-
No. No fun at all except for Red Wings hockey. The person below me is watching their mail for something exciting.

Because they're so cool that they don't need ostentation self-promotion. The person below me got or is getting one of those cool yearbooks they have for sale at the Joe this month.

Haven't been on a beach since the family got together for a vacation about 10 years ago (Holland MI- only time I've been to MI other than once when I was very little and don't remember). I wore flip-flops that I got for $1 at a Kmart that was going out of business in South Dakota. Still have the flip-flops. The person below me hasn't looked to see what the "one rule to a flat stomach" is, but thinks it is something along the lines of "don't eat anything bigger than your head". (For bonus points, the person below me can also tell me where that line -or one similar to it- originated because it's driving me crazy.)

OK, you are SPOOKY! I just bought a head of lettuce and was planning on having a salad tonight. This is like the 3rd time you've done this. The person below me has recently made a purchase during which they could not keep a straight face. (I just bought a nut buster.)

I completely disagree with not allowing helmets to come off. If no one wore visors, I might think differently. Can you imagine Vernon/Roy or Osgood/Roy if they had kept their "helmets" on? That would have included masks. Let the boys square off without helmets and gloves- the honourable way. Get rid of the takedowns. Let it be a fight; not a wrestling match. If a guy goes down, the fight's over. If he gets back up of his own volition and wants to continue, that's his choice; the other has to wait for him to regain his feet. If he's had enough, he just goes down and that ends it. Simple as that. They've been doing it for years. No need to micromanage it.

Not the stuff in a bottle. I do wash my hands regularly, especially when I'm at work. The person below me wishes they could figure out a way to make jars easier to open without compromising the sanitary factor.

Ticket to Ride- the Beatles

OK, I can breathe now. I was getting queasy. I think we've found some good lines. Just too bad Hossa didn't get his hattie. Not that we get the free sandwiches out here, but for the rest of you... and for him, it would have been nice. Nice to have Z back too.
-
That's my Sammy!
-
Homer works well with Z and D. But if that groin is still iffy, maybe 3rd line would not be bad just for fewer minutes for a game or so until he's comfortable.
-
I'd bet money we have Helm playing during the playoffs. I just hope it's because he's awesome, and not because anyone is injured.
-
Oh, I excel in delusional behaviour Would you believe I actually yell at the screen? Yay! Hossa! Goal! (He can't really hear me. I just like yelling.)

Gees, guys. I agree with everything you say about Kopy- I'd like to see him traded too, but do you have to say it in reply to a Happy Birthday post? I mean, at least let the guy have that. Post all you want about him otherwise and I'll agree with it, but as long as he's in the uniform, he's one of us. For now. Know what I mean?

Since there's no game tomorrow, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish Tomas Kopecky a happy 27th birthday, even if I'm a day early.
