    The person below me game...

It was when you posted that, but it's stopped now. The person below me has to shovel the sidewalk and/or driveway of their abode.

    Random Discussion Thread

We do that about 90 times per year. We call it "pages 3-31 (or more) of the GDT".

    12/14 GDT : Penguins 4 at Red Wings 1

Welcome back Patty Sunshine! Ok, boys, let's have a FULL 65 minutes! None of this shootout stuff, hear?

    The person below me game...

I am so frugal that the last three movies I have seen in the theatre have been Star Wars III, Star Wars II, and the Lion King. Of course, when I splurge, I splurge! The person below me sings regularly.

    This or That

Tennies. (Although I wear a twelvie) Telekinesis or teleportation?
  6. Murph was fired because his position was no longer needed. Ozzie was hired to fill the position that Murph had vacated. Not a direct replacement, but a replacement nonetheless. And a whole lot of hooey.
  7. Do like my old basketball coach did for practicing free throws- line everyone up at the end of practice and you don't hit the showers until you've made 5.
  8. For some reason, that didn't sound like Murph. Maybe he's got a bit of a cold or maybe I'm just not used to his voice without the rest of him present. I miss him.

    Varlamov Arrested

I think Ilya has a misplaced antecedent. Pretty sure the "he" who needs to reach an agreement with the lady is Varlomov. Good grammatical catch, though.

Eaves and Glendening Recalled: Emmerton Sent Down

Are they any good in shootouts? In other news... EAVES!!!!!

    This or That

It depends. Sometimes they are in the basket, in which case I add the ones on the floor to the basket. Other times, they're all on the floor so I just grab a big handful. Lip balm in the stick or jar form?

    The person below me game...

Wow. All the best to her. I hope they can save as much as possible. Right now I don't. Two of my aunts were in last week, but I think both are out now. One is for sure. The person below me knows sign language.

    Wheres Mickey?

Mickey has celiac. Different people have different needs. Some just can't eat gluten; others can't eat anything that has been prepared with something that has previously been used to prepare something with gluten (not sure what extreme that goes to). IOW, he has to eat food prepared in a gluten-free kitchen. My cousin's daughter has celiac. She can eat food prepared in their kitchen, but her food has to be kept separately. They also have to clean surfaces very well after they prepare food that has gluten. Both of my sisters have gluten-intolerances. One can't eat it at all; the other can eat some now and then, but has to return to a strict gluten-free diet afterwards. At Mickey's age, I can see why he would rather not travel unless it's the playoffs. Ozzie's getting better. I still miss Murph, but I think once Ozzie loosens up, he'll be fine. I saw a recent picture of Murph. He really needs to go back to the old haircut and ditch the glasses. Aside from the smile, he is not the same Murph I fell in love with all those years ago.

12/12 GDT: Red Wings 1 at Lightning 2 (SO)

We need to take advantage of Stamkos being out and win this one.

We need a victory. Make it so.

Fortunately, no. The person below me has an allergy to something they like.

    Great Datsyuk Interview

This exactly. Pavel has great intelligence that can't be brought out in an English interview after a game in the locker room. His best interviews are the Russian pieces where he's sitting in a relaxed atmosphere.

    Great Datsyuk Interview

I don't oppose the after-game pressers. I just like the kind where they can sit down and ask more in-depth type of questions. Usually the questions in the post-game interview are something like "Talk us through that last goal." which isn't a question at all. The questions pertain to the game, which is fine for a post-game interview. I just like the longer ones like this one where they're sitting down and chatting one-on-one. They can talk about whatever they like and let their personality show through. It's nice when you don't have a lot of people trying to get in questions and the answers have to be quick so they can get in the next person's question. Neither is bad; they're two different sets of circumstances. I just like this one better.

    Great Datsyuk Interview

Pasha is deep. I wish there were more sit-down interviews with players instead of the fifteen-guys-with-a-mike type that we see after games where they answer the same predictable questions with the same predictable answers.

    The person below me game...

Done, but they hired a new girl at work so I need another sack of coal for her stocking. (Seriously- Walmart has candy that looks like a little sack of coal for only a dollar!) The person below me gets the hiccups a lot.

Yzerman commits to Alumni Game roster!

I was just trying to imagine what these guy would have been like if they were all playing in their primes. I was also wondering what the salary would be for this game if they were payed in modern dollars based on the pay from their highest years. I think I'll just go back to smiling. I can see why Stevie was hesitant to commit given his knees and other commitments. It's easier to change a "maybe" to a "yes" than to a "no".

Not the first time, but is has happened. The person below me has had something with pumpkin or pumpkin flavouring recently.

Chipmonk. Better harmony. C'est la vie or C'est la guerre?

    This or That

I don't know diddlysquat about those. (On a side note, I'm amazed that diddlysquat is accepted by the spellcheck.) I would have to see the products in question. Wish you were older or younger?
