I'm an Ozzie lover, so I'm biased in his favour, but if I'm going to have a complaint,it is that I have trouble hearing him. If my volume could go any higher, I'd crank it, but there's only one "loudest" setting. He has a quiet voice. He always had it in interviews, so it's not surprising he has it in the booth. Good Canadian boy.

I like Holtby. He seems like a good kid. He fights like a girl, but he seems like a good kid. Someone get him some boxing lessons. Obviously the official should have broken it up once it was clear that Holtby didn't want to go, but at the same time, I'm disappointed in him for not answering the bell. Better to stand and lose; at least you have your pride. I don't get why Emery had to fight there. It wasn't like the others had all paired off and were fighting, in which case, he wouldn't have had a partner. It's good for goalies to fight each other (as opposed to goalie vs skater) since their padding is the same, but only if both want to go. If Holtby declines, call him a kitty and move on to another partner.

I've had friends screwed over on both sides of the issue- abuse victims who weren't helped and also victims of a judicial system that can (emphasis on can) be so to-the-letter anal that a crime is prosecuted where none existed. Considering that what everything I've heard is conflicting, I'll wait for the movie. (IOW wait to see how it ends and get the short version) I still say people need to learn how to defend themselves. This is not in any way blaming the victims; it is merely noting that assaults occur and need to be handled. Although the legal system is there for dealing with things after the fact, a good weapon and/or self-defense class helps during the attack itself. It may not be advisable every time, but it's good to be prepared. When confronted by a goalie, go five-hole. Hard.

JGus and Miller are pretty even as far as I'm concerned. Miller has been in a down-turn, but look at what he's been playing behind. JGus has been revitalized and be convinced to put on a show as a starter to build his value for a contract anywhere else next summer. Andersson and Smith cancel out Sammy. Throw in a draft pick if we must. Now our roster is down by three players and we can bring up Nyquist and keep the rest of our wonderful Wings.

Oh what a choice! MMMMMMMMMM. Cupcake unless it's my friend Hannah's chocolate chip cookies. She makes them with vanilla pudding in them and they are divine. Hand out several small treats or one large one to trick-or-treaters? (Or stiff the freeloaders, if that's your choice.)

Not that I've noticed, although one eyebrow is a bit lower due to a scar that runs through it, but that's about it. The person below me has an odd number of teeth. (Odd being "not even", not odd as in "unnaturally peculiar", although if you happen to have 48 teeth, please do share this fact.)
