People who swear loudly and frequently. I'm not talking about people who happen to use swear word, especially if the situation calls for a cry or dejection or elation. I'm talking about the moron who stands up and very loudly yells things at the players and/or officials even when nothing is going on. I was at a game where every time Cheli skated by during warmups, some idiot would yell, "Hey, Cheli, why doncha retire, ya f***in' *****?" or something in that vein. Cheli got the last laugh. At first he ignored it and just skated by, but eventually he and someone else (Cleary, IIRC) looked at the guy, Cheli said something to Cleary, they both looked at the guy again and both started laughing. It was pretty obvious they were making fun of him. The guy got mad and went on a real rant and they just stood and laughed at him. Pretty soon everyone in the area was laughing at the guy. People are going to use any number of words on a bad call or something, and that's part of the game. It's when they use the "megaphone" voice on a profanity-laced stream of blah-blah-blah that I get annoyed. Please, people- I'm with my MOTHER!

I'm on the other side of the equation with regards to the seats. I'm tall, but not like man-tall. I'm also reallyreallyreally heavy. I can fit in the seats and I've taught myself to sit small. Basically keep the knees and elbows together so I'm not taking any space from the person next to me. You still get the looks. I always want to look at the skinny people and say, "Hey. I paid good money for this seat, and dagnabbit, I'm going to use every square inch." Fortunately, I've only been to games in Minnesota where the people are nice and friendly and corn-fed, just like me.

People who complain to the clerk about things that are out of the clerk's control, but refuse to bother to complain to the 800 number set up for such occasions should just shut their mouths. If your complaint is not serious enough to you to bother taking it to someone who can actually do something about it, you're just whining. Shut up.

Oh, you know she'll do the butt pats. If you play the Cleary Drinking Game and he gets mad and gets a hat trick, I think you'll get free butt pats for life. For my prediction: Wings either 3 or 6: If 3- Miller (he's due), Alf, Z. If 6- add the Cleary hat trick Rangers 1: just because I don't want to jinx things

One of my best friends had CP (RIP, Laurie) and it is a challenge. There is nothing better than family and friends. Good attitudes work wonders. I like Torts as it is, but now I love him.

My friend Megan came into work this morning and told me that her friend from high school had posted a picture on facebook that I had to see. It was at the Scheel's Arena, where the Fargo Force plays hockey. It was the friend and the father of one of the players. I totally forgot Mike Babcock's son plays for the Force.

I'm glad they didn't change it. I have one already and won't really need to buy new. Not like this one has 2 crowns on it or something. The only thing bad is that the crowns are right on the boobs and belly button if you're a girl, and if you're round, the bottom stripe made it look like a smiley face.

Come to think of it, it wasn't so bad having half of our goals waived off when there were three times more going in the net in the first place.

Many good, strong posts here, and I agree with pretty much everything. I'd like to add two things: We need to have the puck in our end more (fewer turnovers) and we need to Shoot The Puck .
