State your unpopular opinion *Mod Warning Post #'s 200 & 219*

If people can't smoke in public (state/provincial laws may vary) because people don't like the smell and/or it makes them sick even in small amounts, then they shouldn't be allowed to wear perfume/cologne/aftershave for the same reason. The popular rebuttal to that: Oh, but I only wear a little, and besides, I love the smell! My response: Yeah? Well I love the smell of smoke and I don't smoke at all. Your "little spritz" of putridocity makes me sicker than if you happen to catch a "teeny waft" of the cigarette I would light just to mask your foul stench if I had a cigarette on me. -
No AC, but grew up in SK-SD-ND-WI, so not exactly "hot". During the summer was another story at times. Even now I only have the air on probably half of the days in July and August, but trailers are like tin cans if it's hot, so as long as I have a hamster, I'll have AC for the tyke. The person below me generally ends the work week with multiple job-related bruises.

Oh, two of my fave things. Cake, if it's white cake and the temp outside is below 90. Board games or video games?

I'm getting too old for this convenience store stuff. Some kid (age 27, according to his ID, but looked 12 to me) wanted me to "go home" with him, and when I wouldn't, he mooned me. Not a full moon- more like a crescent, but a moon it was. Kids these days.

Southern Wings Fan. If you don't know him, you don't know Jack. The person below me has their AC running.

I loved Star Wars III. It is my favourite of the six. I also love Barry Manilow as much as I love Nik Kronwall, and you know how I feel about Kronwall. -
If I may be so bold as to suggest... This would be the occasion to eschew the modern composite stick and go old school. I loved Sammy when he was here before and was excited when he came back. Now that we can't get rid of him, I hope he shines like crazy. If we're stuck with him, I'd rather eat crow for bewailing his presence than be right about him being too old.

Tootoo can fight. He's a fighter and he enjoys it. He's also decent as a 4th line guy, or at least not any worse than our other 4th line guys. He doesn't have to fight every game to be effective as a fighter. He only has to fight when he's called on. Kind of like retaining a lawyer if you know you're going to need one a few times a year.

Does this mean he can fight to a draw with one hand tied behind his back? I'd rather have Toots for the fighting, thanks. I like E, and I'm glad he can and will throw down when needed, but it's always good to have a specialist on call.

San Jose Sharks decide to use practice jerseys from now on...

The sad part of all of this is how many shoulder caps, stripes, and orange accents are now unemployed in the Bay Area. -
Signed Wings sign Nyquist to 2-year, $1.9m deal ($950k/yr cap hit)

Dude! That's original. I hope you still have it. It's a conversation piece. Hopefully Nyquist will be more of a classic than a conversation piece. -

Those are some cool shoes. The dress is nice too, but those shoes are crazy!

Yeah, except for the snow. And the blower. And Sakic. But other than that, yeah. It does sound like Sakic, kinda.

Chris Chelios could probably analyze Miss Gretzky very well. Of course, this is a channel that I don't get. They'd better not put games on it.

No. I'm not that fast of a reader. So far I'm on "I will not eat them in the rain. I will not eat them on a train." Can't wait to see how it ends, but it won't be tomorrow. The person below me has had their tonsils out.

Cube. It's hip to be square. Pinto or impala?
-
Oh, heck yes. Um... is there another kind? Kidding! The person below me is now craving ice cream and/or lemonade.
-
I'll go with Moose Tracks. Flip flops or thongs?
-
Nope. I'm lucky. At both of my jobs, the bags are further up the latter. My bosses have to deal with them. Granted, s*** rolls downhill, but my bosses are pretty good fences. The person below me drinks lemonade.

I agree, Ally. If someone had sent him a single tweet, that's different. Even if it had been a nasty one, it can still be ignored. When the guy spams him with nasty tweets, that calls for some sort of action. There are few ways to take the high road in that situation. Ignoring him wouldn't have done any good- he'd have just continued and filled up your twitter with nonsense. Whining or resorting to name-calling would have been juvenile. This dealt with the problem decisively. I'm not a fan of his, but in this case Biznasty gets my
