I was actually at that Wings @ Stars game on Valentine's day this year... it was so nice being able to jump up and rub that win in all those stars fan's faces... The funny thing was how many Wings fans were also in the crowd... amazing.

In a situation like this, where your team is eliminated and the other team moves on to the finals, do you: 1. Root for the team that eliminated you, so that your team lost to the champs? or 2. Root for the other team to lay the smack down on the team that eliminated you?

Should Sergei Fedorov's number be retired in the future?

I see The retired number as the ultimate in honors, it has to be reserved for the players that had an impact. Not only the stats, but the team, the fans, and the town. I do think he should be honored though, give him a plaque in a hallway somewhere, make it flashy and out of shiny gold... He'd like that. -

Lidstrom's from Sweden, and he has already won the cup... a few times. Actually when you think about it a large chunk of The Wings are from Sweden. and to answer the question, I'll probably just watch the deciding games.
