No that's not what I meant at all. I don't think a GM should have say so who basically gets to play and who doesn't and who should be up and who should go down (waiver exempt I mean) -

To me the GM should have no say so who stays up or goes down. He should be getting the best players to play, make the salary negotiations, etc. But he should have no say so on who should be playing. Has he ever been a coach? I've done some research and so far haven't found anything. -
That defense scares me and not in a good way.

I didn't see the game but I heard it was very physical. That's the way the game should be played not this pansified stuff we're seeing today in the NHL.
