Eklund at it again. Forsberg to Detroit?

A+B+C+D = jilted high school girl emotion.

Eklund at it again. Forsberg to Detroit?

Peter Forsberg, when healthy, is as good a center as there is in the NHL, who's not named Crosby. He's the full package, of skill, grit and determination. Allowing your foolish emotion to cloud your judgement of him as a player is juvenile. The fact that he's hated by some Wings fans is proof that he's a great player. Bring on Forsberg.

"We have no interest in him -- I mean zero"

Yeah, he fights a lot. Do you research this stuff? His one fight this past season was against ... Olli Jokinen.

So...you guys happy with your signings?

    What trades?

    Excellent Detroit Off-Season

Lang has scored 30 goals only once in his career and that was 6 years ago. His "almost 30 goals" was actually 19 goals, and that's not something that Zetterberg or Filipula will have any trouble matching as the second line center. Both are also much better than Lang defensively. Doing just a little research before posting would be a good thing.

    A big guy for Detroit

Ivanans best quality is his ability to take a punch. Boogard absolutely destroyed him, but he didn't go down.

    Bruins looking to dump salary

Glen Murray gritty? That's just funny. The knock on him is precisely that he doesn't use his size. Just say no.

    everyone quit whining!

He also has 311 career points. Forsberg has never scored 40 goals. Would you consider him a "scoring forward"? Incidently, Rafalski has more points per game in his career than Matty Schneider.

Who is next to sign with Detroit?

Jeremy Roenick has been declining for years. The idea that he's going to "stick up for his teammates " in any physical manner in asinine. I mean, 28 points last season? C'mon. He was once a very good player, but pirate, his ship has sailed.

So how did we do at the trade deadline?

So the Wings should have overpaid Bertuzzi and surrendered it's 2008 2nd rounder?

Might as well shutdown the site.

Great, first the "vent" thread, now the "non-panic" thread. We've gone full circle.

    Bertuzzi a Duck: 2-Years, $8M

I'll summarize the "talks" for you. Bertuzzi: "I want $4 million". Holland: " Go f***kk yourself".

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?

Thank goodness you started a "vent" thread, because people didn't already vent in every other thread.

    Bertuzzi a Duck: 2-Years, $8M

Wore them down? The Wings were one minute, and a terrible turnover away from winning game 5, and were so worn out that they almost made a miraculous comeback in game 6. Any objective person would say that the series could have gone either way.

When Phaneuf starts posting here, I will. Is that all you've got?

    Bertuzzi a Duck: 2-Years, $8M

Size, ok. When did he show you any of the other "attributes" as a Red Wing?

    Bertuzzi a Duck: 2-Years, $8M

Serious? Yes. From my vantage point he was the Wings worst player in the playoffs. Are you expecting him to return to his for, umm, dominance ... not the he was ever actually "dominant". Except for perhaps one great season. Did you really like his playoff beard or something? I don't the panic.

    Bertuzzi a Duck: 2-Years, $8M

Could any one of the whiners please explain to me what it is the Wings are losing by letting Bertuzzi walk?

    Hasek close to re-signing..

Umm, dude, he's signed with the Ducks.

    Bertuzzi a Duck: 2-Years, $8M

I'd take Owen Nolan over Bertuzzi for the short term.

Isles Sign Sim, Penguins Sign Sabourin.

Yes, dammit Kenny. Why didn't you just sign everyone?
