Reinhart was good early, not so good in the last few games. Lazar, for instance has been better on the wing. If it comes down to Reinhart or Ekblad as the No.1 pick in the coming draft ... I'd take Ekblad by a country mile. MacKinnon needs more ice time ... from Patrick Roy, in Colorado.

There are many who believe he's the best player in the world right now. That can't be new or be a surprise to you. If he's the best now, he'd have to be one of the best ever. That's not really a leap.

What? You waited 20 minutes for hot chocolate? You were told they were out of it and you stood in line for hot chocolate .... AGAIN?
-
I don't know how any of these teams expect to win anything without fighters on their teams.
-
But seriously ... Brad May has referred to him as the best player ever, Todd Bertuzzi has implied the same. Kovalchuk. The list goes on. How many do you want? Many observers believe he's among the best

Google it. I don't want to have to be the first person in LGW history to have to back up a post with facts.

Yeah, it wouldn't be news to suggest that Sweden is the team to beat in this tourney. So far they've looked like they won't be beaten by anyone but themselves.
-
There are those in the know who mention Pavel Datsyuk among the best players, ever ... so, him.
-
Hey, how about another lines thread? Helm will be fine, once his career is over ... until then, list him as day - to - day forever.

The Swiss played a very good game, their program has come a long way in recent years. The game was closer than the score would indicate. Two disappointments for Canada thus far in the tournament are Horvat and Rychel. Ekblad, Pouliot and Mantha have been playing very well.

Countries where players were born part of the rules in the OP. Seems you weren't paying attention to the "rules". It would be fitting that you gave credit to the originator of your quote, instead of passing it off as your own. Line: Aubry Bissett Brubaker Bautin Boileau Bester

Brett Hull was born in Bellville On, Canada.

Complaining about officiating again? I'd say a trend has developed.
-
Translation - "I have nothing, again".
-
A "terribly" refereed game between the USA and Canada will do that.
-
Famous last words.

Canada didn't need the win any more than the USA did. I understand the implications of a Canada win in regulation and a USA team getting the game into OT ... but neither team needed to win the game any more than the other. The USA chant is "we didn't win because we didn't have to, hooray for us!". Good luck against the Russians ... yeah Canada needed it more. You play the Russians, Canada plays the Swiss.
-
They didn't need the win any more than the USA did. Typical of you to be wrong ... both teams move ahead regardless of the result.
-
Losers always hide behind the bad, mean referees ... typical. Here, have a tissue!

I'll get back to you in 10 years. It's possible the next Red Wing Captain isn't even old enough to drive a car. Just keep bumping the thread so it doesn't die.
-
Concerning the reactions to the Canada loss. Yes, it's mindless stupidity to be concerned about losing one game ... or moreover, exactly comparable to most posters on this site when the Red Wings lose.
-
Yeah, Eaves and those 0 points and -6 have been fantastic!
-
Stephen Weiss ... as inspiring as a nap. Whatever the "test", he's failed it.
-
Weiss has had a chance with everyone (including Datsyuk) pretty much and has done nothing. Even if he has a good game tonight, I hope the logical fans will still withhold judgement until such time as he proves on a nightly basis he's worth his salary.

Seems the law has been brought into it ... what'ya know.
