not too sure myself but i think waivers come into effect when a player has been in one team for a certain amount of days (i think its something like 30) and then they cant just go straight back down they need to clear waivers. this way you can call up a player for an injury when one of your big boys are on the IR but you dont have to lose them sending them back down. dont know if that helped??

ooo have to agree, great commercial. better than the others i think because the walk z talks about is probably the hardest part to a playoff game: SCENARIO: its game 7 of SCF.... when you get on the ice for warm up your relaxed, ready of the game, not thinking too much about the end of the game. During the game you're fine, just concentrating on getting the job done. But the walk at the beginning of the game.... thats where it would all get to you, all the emotions flowing through you. The ads about in game scenarios are pretty much like a normal game only probably a little tougher and require more determination, but its same players, same abilities. Just my view but the walk is the toughest...... in fact i dont even know why i just spent 10 mins writing this... get thats how much i like the advert : lol :

yeah i dont really like him much... but thats probably because he's good, its just the way things are. but from MOST of the plays i've seen of him he manages to stay on his feet.... but yeah like someone said he probably does go down a lot because people will just say "ahhh its crosby... he wont be diving" and he'll just get away with it, and continue to until theres a referee with balls who will stop him.... but happens to a lot of good players i think who arent as physical as their opponants. We see it in football (soccer) over here in UK and i can tell you know its always the best players who get away with it...... but EVERYBODY hates them.

plus.... if im being perfectly honest... who cares if he won or if it was a draw.... at the end of the day it rallyed the crowd and the players and they managed a pretty impressive display considering i thought the dives were gonna come at us after their performance in the first game and i know im being completely contradictory here but.... dmac won!

best game of the playoffs so far... it was end to end and just amazing to watch!!! Caps game last night was almost as good. They were both like an All-Star game in the fact that no-one cared about defence it really was two teams scrapping it out, neither of which look remotely like winning in the next round anyway. what you think about it?? if you didnt watch it check the highlights!

if we go 3-0 up in next round i dont see why not putting howard in for a game... i mean is it just me or do rookies seem to be pretty good in playoffs??? its like they dont realise their in the post-season! Coaches probably tell them its a practice game and just send them out.

the thing is.... hes great and he works his ass off.... but not only that he's technically an amazing player. I couldnt stop watching his goal (mainly because if you watch the bench flood the ice, Cheli and Lids just give each other a look as if to say.... "Job done") it was technically perfect! plus.... i agree about the yell face!!!

i guess i wouldnt really mind if they hated ovech for some reason other than he's better than any of their own players.... hate someone for a reason, not because they're better than you.... for that you gotta admire him

I think the moment you change the C you lose faith from your players... as if changing C could turn around a whole series (im not saying its impossible but just really unlikely). If you think we need someone to talk on the ice a lot more and rally the troops, then any player on the roster who wants to win will do that! Plus, im from UK and i would KILL to see a game at JLA, esp during playoffs. You think we need someone to inspire us, get fans in the arena. My local soccer team in London has the best atmosphere ive witnessed and it really helps the players. But just on another note... how much would you love to see Dom or Ozzie screaming their heads off to try and inspire the team . In soccer match in UK a goalkeeper actually almost fought his own player because he wanted to win so bad.... look at this.....

its a shame.... the rate Anaheim and San Jose are going we might not get to see Downey batter them!!! but i just think at the moment... and probably is because Nash arent a physical team.... i think DMac over Downey.... FOR NOW though
