what the hell are you talking about? Do you know anything about hockey, or even skating? first, Fischer was never a speedskater either and second, an ACL injury is HUGE for ALL skaters, let alone for skaters like Franzen which rely on balance and strength more than speed... if anything, this affects someone like him MORE

in the cap world, this is actually a great thing - we'll have a player in his prime, who by all accounts, knows what it takes to be in the NHL, but has developed more of a killer instinct and maturity from being a teams number 1 - basically a way to send him to the minors for more seasoning, but a better version of our minors(AHL) and with no waiver eligibility...

such a great goalie and a good guy to boot - classy move by Miller, especially when he did nothing wrong... really puts jerks like Ed Belfour in perspective...

exactly... all of these "the sky is falling" threads lately have been annoying the hell out of me - We lost 3 of our best 7 players (some might even argue 3 of our best 6 or even 5) - NO team could lose that much and still roll like nothing happened... once they are all back, we are going to notice a drastic difference also, people should look at the bright side - I think Drew Miller has been quite a find as a 4th liner and we never would have been able to claim him without this bad luck first happening...
