Kindl is the last thing we need right now, he is NOWHERE near ready defensively and makes too many poor decisions as it is... if someone like Rafalski had gone done, I could see bringing up Kindl, but we need a defensive d-man, not an offensive d-man... they'll roll with Meech and Lebda(ugh) and if anyone gets called up, it's Janik

I've always been a proponent of balancing out your weaknesses with strengths and pairing weaker d-men with stronger d-men who can make up for their shortcomings... with that said, I'd MUCH rather see Janik up, than rolling with Meech and Lebda in the lineup night in, night out... so... without Janik: Lidstrom-Ericsson Stuart-Lebda Meech-Rafalski(eww defensively) with Janik: Lidstrom-Ericsson Stuart-Rafalski Lebda-Janik

it never truly has been, they don't know how to use the technology properly... The NHL has everything needed to be a powerhouse in the world of sports (look at the NFL) - speed, physicality, personality(if they marketed it right), viable markets in the most important cities, a stable revenue base and passionate fans, the problem is the NHL's leadership - It is a complete joke and it will continue to be a 3rd tier sport until this is fixed...

that's how it's already set up... the fact is, the refs shouldn't be able to veto Toronto - Toronto should veto the refs... also, "intent to blow" needs to go away: whistle blown - play dead no whistle - live puck No ifs, ands, or buts - then during the review, if the whistle was not blown when the puck crosses, it's a goal. period.

it makes perfect sense for the regular season, ties are stupid and serve no purpose... HOWEVER I HATE a team game being decided by individuals and I think there should be more incentive to winning the game the way it is suppose to be played... with that said, I think ALL games should be worth 3 pts and I think overtime needs to be tweaked.... If a tie after regulation - 4 on 4 for 5 minutes. If a tie after the first OT - 3 on 3 for another 5 minutes. If there is STILL a tie... then a SO - FOR REG SEASON ONLY - Playoffs - play until someone wins Win in regulation or OT - 3pts Win in SO - 2 pts Loss in SO - 1 pt grand total of 3 pts for every game, if you don't win it in reg or OT, you actually lose a pt you could have won in OT - more incentive to win in reg or OT

generally 2-4 - it will increase once they get out of the hole that is the Joe and into a new arena... there really is a lot to be said of a 50 inch HD LCD and a comfy couch... no hassle of the traffic, crowds, bathrooms... maybe I'm just getting old, haha
